It's funny right? They are right and everyone else is wrong. Then tell them that they are wrong and watch how fast that try to convert you. Annoying.

Go learn some geography and social studies.

Most christians are not just from the USA. That statement is an example of why the rest of the world gets the impression that most Americans are completely self-centred and ignorant of the world around them.

Oh, and to answer your question -- everyone goes to heaven, there is no hell. Hell was created as a way to brainwash the masses into the control of a select few early church/societal leaders.

Careful! It's not accepted by all Christian faiths. I am a Catholic, and we do not believe that other faiths are going to hell. We believe that every faith contains its truths.

I also heard an interesting theory once, that the major religions of the world can be divided into three categories: religions of the books (Christianity-Bible, Islam-Koran), religions of the spirit (Native Americans-animism, Hinduism-animism), and religions of silence or meditation (Buddhism). In the frame of Catholic belief, each represents a very different perspective of the Holy Trinity (God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) -- so it has been theorized that we should be open and accepting to all different faiths of the world, because they know God from a slightly different perspective, and through accepting their religion, we may better get to know our God.

Christian's are people that believe in Christ and that he was the Messiah and the Son of God. That would include Catholics, Lutherans, Episcopalians, Anglicans, Methodists, Baptists, Pentecostals etc., etc. The last time I looked, these religions were world wide and not just primarily in the USA. I think you are just an America hater who is trying to slam the country by any means necessary.

Here's a hint: every religion believes they are right so quit trying to lump America into one evil religious group because it just won't work.

First -- many Christians do believe that nonbelievers will go to Hell. Many Christians (particularly nonCatholics) believe that faith is all that is required to enter heaven. I exclude Catholics, because they believe that it is a combination of belief and good acts.

Despite this, many Christians believe that good men who are not Christian can get to heaven. I hope they are right.

Second, you are incorrect that most Christians are from the USA. Approximately a third of the world is Christian (with half of those people being Catholic). Europe, South America and the non-US countries in North America are overwhelmingly Christian.

First off, hell, as a place of eternal torture, doesn't exist. The final hell is "the second death".
Second, God is not a cruel God. He doesn't just toss people into the flames for nothing.
Finally, I think people need to stop confusing "what Christians believe" with what "God hath said". You'd be surprised how often the two differ. Let's stop confusing the spiritual with the physical.

F.Y.I. Most Christian are not in the U.S.A. The fastest growing Christian population is in Latin America and Africa. Korea and other parts of Asia are also seeing large amount of growth in this Religion. I believe the largets population of Christians are in Latin America.
Besides there is no such thing as hell. Hell is a creation by the religious elite to scare people into behaving the way they say is right.

Incorrect. There are more Christians outside of the USA than within it. Christianity is the fastest growing religion on the planet and much of that growth is in other countries.

As for the fate of non-Christians--Jesus said, "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."--John 14:6

He never said there are many ways.

"that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved"--Romans 10:9

But also:
"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"--Romans 10:14-15

Therefore we have a duty to send the word to all those who do not yet know of Him.

Yep...that's right. Christians generally believe that anyone who knows about their God and doesn't believe in Him, will go to Hell. They do say that if you have never heard about God - such as small villages in Africa or Asia - you will not go to Hell. You won't get to Heaven though, either. I don't believe that is the right way to look at things, but that is what most Christians believe.

I really wish I had the answer for you. I've always wondered what happens to all the people who died before the christian teachings were started. Since they never heard of Christ an they worshiped idles are they burning in hell? What kind of God would do that?

Well i'm catholic and as far as we're comcerned we don't think that people from other religions are going to hell. We believe that when you die you will go before God to be judged. If you are a non-beleiver you will not pass through the gates of heaven. Where you go from there is your choice. If you pay your pennance before God he will accept you. BYW there are a lot of christinas in europe too.
