I am not surprised that you don't understand the meaning of these beautiful teachings because they are built on the basis of logical concepts. How stupid a person can be if he wants to learn about Islam by looking at the smallest branches and ignoring the main branches to which they are attached? By the way it seems you are ignorant in Arabic as your translationa and interpretation are incorrect. May you plaease be hoest and tell us the reason why Mohammad said The sun and the moon are two signs amongst the signs of Allah and they do not eclipse because of the death of someone but Allah frightens His devotees with them? What was the event? Do you know or should I tell you.

urm..i bet bible to write this way, means it's not literary translated. Like the satan pee in ur ear, doesnt mean that the satan wasnt pee in it. Can u see the satan? of course not. Thus the prophet has give us the advice of can do this and cant do that.

About the garlic thing, yes garlic is good for health but how many of us can stand the sting that come out from it? Islam ask the follower to not eat garlic b4 prayer because some people might annoy or not feel comfortable from it. Islam always put the important of neighbours 1st because we dont want to annoy other people.

Respect other people religions and accept people the way they are not what we want them to be.

World PEACE

I have come across the first one you mentioned... the garlic thing......
because a person who eats garlic has a bad breath that could distract and disturb others......... therefore, he has to rinse his mouth before coming.
He can come to the mosque even eating garlic, but not desirable untl he rinses his mouth.
Islam wants his followers to consider other peoples comfort.

Some things are metaphorical..... satan urinating in the ear, the act of sleeping through is just as bad.
IF you like taking literally, why dont you take what jesus said, ..... my lord and your lord are none but ONE lord.

There is nothing wrong with yawning. That one is most prob. a fabricated hadith or a greately misinterpreted/mistranslated one.

Try to understand, somethings are metaphorical, while others dont even exitst. They were and are false hadeeth that have creeped up into Islam or have been greatly misinterpreted.
One should use his or her intelligence to deduce such hadeeth.

Whatever the prophet said, If he said it, has a reason.

1.. If you eat garlic......
Garlic is a flavorful, healthy compliment to many foods. How can it be a bad thing?

2. Left shoe, right shoe......
I put on whichever shoe I can find first. I take off which one slids off easlier without using my hands.

3. Breating in your drink.....
I havent' ever developed a habit of breating into my drink, but I remember blowing bubbles in my milk. I guess that's bad.

4. Praying in the morning.......
There have been many mornings that I dont' pray and Ihave never ever felt urine running from my ears.

5. Yawning......
I'm yawning now.

So my answer is no, I dont' think Islma is beatutiful at all. I think it's much too complicated.

I like the way Christians/nonmuslims talk about Islam behind Muslims' backs at church, how they come on blogs and say F*** Allah, F*** Mohammed (pbuh), and precede to bash a religion they honestly know nothing about all the while imposing their "peaceful/tolerant" religion on others. The only Muslims that you are referring to are the ones you have nor ever will have contact with in countries that you have never been i.e. Pakistan and the Middle East. I have many Muslim friends, and to this day not ONE of them have ever derided or made fun of Christianity or any other religion. Can you honestly tell me that a Muslim boy or girl has ever offended you, your child, declared Jihad on you, or put your family in any danger whatsover? No. All Prophets of God spoke in very symbolic and metaphorical terminology because they were men of wisdom and to speak bluntly and harshly like Bill O'Reilly does not evoke much wisdom or even knowledge for that matter. Satan is a force of evil, he does not eat, he does not drink, so how the hell does the man have urine? wow people, use your brains, the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) wasn't sitting there saying, put earplugs in your ears b/c Satan's gonna urinate in your ears. The point of his speech was to tell people that every aspect of the Devil is obstinate, and to refrain from worldly and superficial wants and needs will benefit you if you redirect your attention to your Lord. Islam goes far beyond a few debatable quotes and one-liners that you nor your "priest" can dissect, it is essentially the perfect way of life. I am not saying that Christianity or any other religion is bad, but there is no reason for you to evoke hatred on a group of people you know nothing about. The news likes to show big bearded, flag burning, hate-envoked people of the Middle East to get you to believe that the US government is justified in its shameless endeavors of ruining other people's way of life. As far as I recall, Samuel Adams and George Washington were looked at as rebellious bums by the Britain when they fought for what they believed, but oppression is not blind in either case. 9/11 was a very questionable and debatable moment. To this day, not one person that is outside of the White House honestly knows what really happenned, so to blindly blame religion and fuel more hatred on the blog is a shame. Please don't take this the wrong way, I don't mean to say anything that my words did not already imply, but I am a Muslim and to judge me, my beliefs, and to debase my religion with a few random quotes is not something I have done to a person of any other faith, and I would respect if you could return the offer and close this discussion.

I really thank for the information.
Your translation might not be perfect, but it dose not hurt.

You chose to present small and trifle matters as an illustration of the beauty of Islam, why you did not mention the more heavy stuff, which could make others wonder more and more about the beauty of Islam
See how great Islam is, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did not leave even trifle matters, but he kept teaching us small things tooo.

get better translations buddy, dont misquote and hope other will agree.
