In other worlds, I want to find out the entire history of Satan in a compact, easy to follow, easy to understand way. From the Garden of Eden to Job to Revelations and everything in between. Anybody know?
And please don't say, "The Bible". The Bible is not compact and easy to follow. I am looking for something more like bullet points or a brief summary.

If God created it, and we choose to go there because of our pride, and sinners are followers of Satan, then why did God create it. Why did he make it so abominable? Does God WANT us to suffer? I mean apparently he created it.

Perhaps Satan created it, but if he did, then why would Satan create a den for his own suffering?

Who created hell?

It is apparent that most states child welfare systems aren't very effective and, in some cases, a dismal failure. Case workers are over worked, carrying massive caseloads, and underpaid, not to mention stressed out. Would privatization of them be a more effective option? Would it also help with the amount of those that slip through the cracks?

in the Bible?

I have read Elizabeth Claire Prophet's The Lost Teachings of Jesus: Book 2. And she cites Ian Wilson's Jesus: The Evidence as supporting text in her claim that the Bible was really "choreographed" to meet certain personal ends of Constantine.

Which leads to my follow-up question: Have i just misunderstood Elizabeth Prophet's citation of Wilson (cause i haven't read any of the latter's work). In short, what is each's stand on Jesus and the Bible? Is Wilson also against the authenticity of the Bible? Or is he for it?

Ok...wow.....how many people actually believe that "The DaVinci Code" is true? So many things....even on the "Fact" page...are messed up. He got the date of the dead sea scrolls wrong....that little sect of knights who protected the grail? Go check the French records....it's actually a small group of people who think the housing condition of France should be improved...and it's headed up by a known con artist who was in it for the money. Oh yeah, and it's in the fiction section at the bookstore to top it of.

Don't take me wrong...I think it's a wonderful book, a well-written piece of fiction...but nothing more.

There are thousands of christans on this forum who say quran is wrong and false , its not the book of God but written by Muhammad (peace be upon him).. i was reading Quran and i was made to stop and think ....on a verse i would like to share .....
i have also read bible there 73 and 66 chapters in bible.... there are chapters like Acts , Luke , Mathew etc .... but interestingly no chapter like Jesus or Marry ...
But when i read Quran i found a chapter with the name Marry ...actually in honour of Marry ... and the verse i was talking about ....is
And when the angels said: O Mary! Lo! Allah hath chosen thee and made thee pure, and hath preferred thee above (all) the women of creation. [AlQuran 3:42]
Just think about an Arabian man writing a book and honouring a woman of his opponent ??? for me my mother is best as would be for any one ...but He mentiones Marry ..Why ???
and still if you think Quran as false then you would also consider all the honour of Marry and Jesus as falsehood

Best one Wins!

Here's mine:

During the course of regular Mass a Roman Catholic priest elicits liturgical responses from the worshippers. At various points during the service the priest will say: “The Lord be with you.” The congregational response is: “And also with you.”

Once, during a routine Mass this priest, not sure whether the microphone was working, was about to recite his regular “The Lord be with you” when he tapped on the mic and muttered: “There's something wrong with the mic.” Back came the congregation, "And also with you."

Ths one's a little different....somebody prove to me that Christianity is wrong...false....but make it a genuine, researched answer. I'm not a pushover, and I know my stuff. Before you post an answer, ask yourself, "How do I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is true?" Tell me that too.

it's like they can't even recognize something beautiful when they hear it because they are so used to thinking about ugly and unproductive things.

it's funny how a christian can take the bible as pure truth and an inspiration from god, yet at the same time, will 'write-off' the contradictions because the bible was written by man, and by different points of view and it is generally agreed that the bible is not translated accurately.

how can you follow a book that has been so hacked-up over the centuries with translations and different meanings of words and mistakes 'made by men'?

a few contradictions

2 Kings 8:26 says "Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign..."
2 Chronicles 22:2 says "Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign..."

2 Samuel 6:23 says "Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death"
2 Samuel 21:8 says "But the king took...the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul"

Even if they were rotten to the core, and never asked you for forgiveness, would you damn them and cast them into a lake of fire if you had the power? Would you love and forgive them no matter what? Would you care for them regardless?

If you were Hitler's parents, would you send Adolf Hitler to hell, if you begat Hitler? Would you forgive your genocidal child? Even if they hated you?

I don't exactly know how it happened, but I have become aware that I am fighting a battle I can not face alone and am uncapable of running anymore. I was not raised in an environment where I could find God, but I now know I never want to live without him again. It is like the many burden of many hard years has been taken off my back.

I know this isn't a question, but I would just like to greatly thank the kind Christians who did not resort to hate or judgement, you helped me greatly on my path.

God made the tree of knowledge of good and evil, but why did he do that? is it becuz the potential for evil can exist even in a perfect world?

but if the new heavens and earth is going to be perfect with no potential for evil, I would feel safe to assume that the order of operations that this world relies on is going to be replaced into something completely different. Let me rephrase that: the next world after this one is going to be completely different in every way and shape and form, BUT it will still be (partially) physical becuz people's bodies will be resurrected. Is that not true?
