I am more embarrassed by some of the people who use the term Christian to discribe themselves!

However, how can I be embarrassed for belief in God!

I just hope God is not embarrased by me!

No. I am embarrassed for those who ridicule me because of my belief's about God and the bible. I believe in God, but I do question some things. That is natural. I am embarrassed for those who treat people like crap and ridicule just because they question.

No. Christians in other countries are being killed, ridiculed, raped and kidnapped for being truein their faith. I hold my head of high because of this. I know the day will come when I will be tested and tried for my faith and maybe even killed. My faith gets stronger everyday thru God's word,my family,my church and by coming to this site. People on here don't embarrassed me but themselves!

No, Not really.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion- and A LOT of people are not afraid to express that.
I'm Catholic and sometimes I get weird comments about the St. Christopher I wear, " So- You pray to a Saint?" ... and, let's not forget the whole molestation scandal.. I am so glad that died down a little.
I think of it like this: People will judge. God will love. and, really the latter is the only thing that matters to me.

No, because I know that it means that I am blessed when I am ridiculed or otherwise persecuted for the sake of Jesus.

I feel more sorry for the ones doing the ridiculing and hope that they will one day come to know the love and mercy of God.

i don't feel embarrased, just a little frustrated. I respect Atheists beliefs of that there is no God and i would appreciate the same respect. But i know that our society is still somewhat almost unable to accept the beliefs of others and respect the differences of others. Why can't we all just live in peace and acceptance??

Absolutly not! I am blessed when people ridicule and persicute me for my Lord, Jesus's name sake!

Mat 5:10 Blessed are they who have been persecuted for righteousness sake! For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.
Mat 5:11 Blessed are you when men shall revile you and persecute you, and shall say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for My sake.
Mat 5:12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for your reward in Heaven is great. For so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Joh 15:18 If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
Joh 15:19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
Joh 15:20 Remember the word that I said to you, The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they have kept My saying, they will also keep yours.
Joh 15:21 But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.
Joh 15:22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
Joh 15:23 He who hates Me hates My Father also.
Joh 15:24 If I had not done among them the works which no other did, they would not have had sin. But now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father.
Joh 15:25 But that the Word might be fulfilled that is written in their Law, "They hated Me without a cause."
