Not susceptable. It is their beliefs. Like a baby born into a Christian family is not more susceptible to being Christian, they are taught that in the family.
As for that woman, do you know her? If not, why are you giving her crazy rantings any brain time? Practice being a Seer, OK, yeah, honey. Did she give any lessons, advise? Won't you feel stupid if she was just trying to get a rise out of you. Put it out of your mind or, if you are interested, ask a real Shaman about it. Contact a Native American church or group or something. Make sure you aren't joining a cult or being duped by another crazy person.

deary, just because someone else tells you that you are a seer doesn't mean that you actually are. Indians are oft times portrayed as being adept at supernatural phenomena because they're here. Most of those portrayals originate in America where people who aren't Indian see how Indians lived in the past and suddenly they're all Shamen.
In all actuality Indians aren't the only culture (not race, this supernatural aspect has nothing to do with your genes) that are receptive to such things. Just one of the more popular.

Don't go there girl. I'm Aboriginal and we are not susceptible to the supernatural no way.
I fell for that line myself, that I was A seer and it cost me a bundle to gain the experience $$$.
Not to mention the problems it created for myself.

I am Kardecist Spiritist. You may want to read a book I will list below. We all have the power to communicate with Spirits, or engage in certain "supernatural" powers. Most people refuse to believe in it, but it is just a part of our sensory system. When you evolve far enough, and understand more of how the universe works, it will become known. Eventually it will become known to all. Have no fear.

I am 100% lakota sioux and I doubt very much if you are a seer. And descent has nothing to do with what you are either,it is what is in your heart that makes you what you are.
If you were you would know and you wouldn't fear so,I wouldn't worry because you are not.(and you been watching to many movies it's not seer)

I am half descent and I have abilities that allow me to understand and "see." There's no need to be afraid b/c nothing can hurt you or harm you, just open your mind and surround yourself with the light of the great spirit and you will be protected. I guess it is b/c us natives tend to be more in tune with nature.

Because they believe .... one needs to be open to the supernatural to be able to "see" it.

It's just like spirits are more likely to visit a child because they have no preconceived notions that they should be afraid of it.

Visions are a important part of their culture. And the ability to see them and interpret them was held in high regard.
