1). Approach her and say to her, " If you died right now, where would you go?" Usually when you start talking about something personal to them, they will get very serious. People love to give opinions of themselves.
God uses scripture to change people's lives. 2). Use your Bible, put it in front of her and open it to (Romans 3:23) ask her to read it out loud. Then ask her what does it say to you? You see when you do it this way, she can't say to you that its just your interrpretation, because she read it for herself. And remember when you do it this way, your friend will be doing the speaking and " The Holy Spirit " will be doing the convicting.
3). To clarify more after she has read the scripture, ask her, " Have you ever committed murder?" the answer will probably be no, so ask her, " Have you ever hated anybody or been angry?" She probably get defensive about now so tell her, " Did you know that God says anger is the same as murder. Now shes thinking that she is really messed up.
4). Ask her to read ( Romans 6:23) then ask her what does it say to her?
5) Before you even approach your friend, In ( Romans 6:23) underline or circle the word " sin". Then draw a line through the word death. In big letters near it write the word " hell". Then circle the word " in". After your friend reads the scripture, simply say, " Did you notice that in my Bible I've underlined the word, sin. ( point to the word) and say while pointing, " this reminds me that there is no " s" at the end of the word. God says that for just " one" sin He'll send me to hell. Your friend will get the idea. Ask her if she noticed that you have circled the word " in" Tell her it reminds you that I have to be " in" a relationship with Jesus Christ, not just in any religion.
6). Thats all their is too it!! God Bless

Umm, well. First, you must be sure that this person is actually receptive to this "knowing God" business, and that you are not just being driven by some egomaniacal whim to "convert the random heathens." You don't want to be approaching random people on the street only to have them gaze at you uninterestedly and rather guiltily before walking off.
Remember, that would be wasting valuable time that could be better spent at a rally of some sort, preferably a pro-life one with strong Republican backers and lots of cake.
Now, if this sap-err, I mean, "potential saved one" is genuinely interested in Religion, and the local flock of sheep is currently not taking applications, then you may be in luck.
However, you must work quickly, because in this receptive state of mind, the victim is in danger of being sucked into the black hole of the "heathen wrong religions." Work diligently, o ye soldier of the Lord, to make sure that this person is thoroughly conviced before those bastards from Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, or the Jedi temple corrupt his fragile mind.

When beginning the mind wipe, be sure to mention eternal damnation numerous times. Really hammer the point home. Jump up and down and don't be afraid to shout numerous times. However, make sure your speech does not make you sound like an elitist, or it'll be the fiery pits of the Jedi temple for your recruit.
WIth luck, you should have another brain-dead soldier of the Lord. Good luck and stay away from lightsabers.

Hey Sierra,

It can be very hard to explain the gospel,
but it doesn't have to be. It's so wonderful
to know that someone is curious about
Jesus Christ!

It was hard for me , until I was blessed
to meet Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron of
"Way of the Master". These guys will show
you how to explain the gospel in a precise,
easy, and smart way.

They show you how to:

Witness to anybody-anywhere.
To prove God's existence in 3 minutes.
And, show you how to have unshackable faith.

If you're having trouble explaining the gospel,
I guarantee this will solve your problem.

Just go to http://www.wayofthemaster.com
and you'll be greeted by Ray and Kirk.

While you're there, take the Good Test.

GodBless!

St. Francis of Assisi said it best, "Always preach the Gospel, and sometimes use words." Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ is key. No one can be talked or argued into the kingdom. The Spirit of God must take hold of them first. And the best way to display the Spirit of God that dwells in you is to live according to it's precepts. Just like Jesus said, "I do not do anything on my own, I do only as I see my Father doing."

pray about it. Tell them your story. Remember the samaritan woman at the well and also the man who was born blind, neither of them had great scriptural knowledge yet they shared their testimony.
Also ignore the fools on forums like this. They are easy enough to spot. Remember your responsibility is not to save anyone. You just share the gospel whether people are receptive or not and consider youself blessed when they persecute you for your faith.

It is the Lord, not you or I, who pursues a man. It is the Lord who quickens a mans spirit. It is the Lord who prepares a mans heart for His good pleasure. Stop trying so hard and just rest in the knowledge that the Lord used someone special to reach you and that in exactly the same way, someday, He may use you in the same way. Who is control, you or God?

A person really has to find god on their own - it's the best way. You can refer this person to whatever literature you'd like to share with them, but it is my belief that a person should research many religions to find the one that suites them best.

I started out as a Christian, it was kind of forced on me as a kid by my grandparents, but when I was old enough to question things I made the assessment that Christianity wasn't the religion for me. I've since had many spiritual experiences and found god on my own and we are the bestest of friends. :)

For the word of God is for you and for your children and for all those who are far off, even all those who may be marked out by the Lord our God. 40 And with more such words he gave his witness, offering them salvation and saying, Come out from this evil generation.

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Everyone must discover the Lord for themselves, you can make the aware of the Lord and the Lord will make himself known to them.

I feel that you should pull some scriptures out of the Bible that speak on the aspects of what God has done for us. Like the story of Noah........and the Rainbow and his promise that he will not flood the (Whole) Earth again.
