SO much bad stuff has happened this week, I'm not even going to begin to share...

just wondering, what do you do when you're having a bad week/bad luck, and how do you change your luck?
(by the way, I've tried 'looking on the bright side', but my bright side's run out)

"grow up"
its like you want to get a bat and punch their face in. its like thats all they can say is 'grow up' eveytime somebody posts a question or asks for help,

"my friend is acting this way what should i do?"
"Grow up!!"

"i think my mom cheated on my dad, should i tell him?"
"grow up!"

"my teacher is not being fair to the class, should i report it?"
"GROW UP!!"

errrrr! its like they may as well shut up!!

Some of the pearls of wisdom I have seen on YA include:
Poor people don't have jobs.
Poor people watch television all day
Poor people have Sky/Cable
Poor people mug each other (to pay for Sky??)

The mind boggles.

I'm a 16 year old girl, yet I'm quite amazed by all this new technology, and frankly, I don't like it.

I hate the music of today. I like 50's, 60's 70's and some 80's music.
Frankie Valli, Dion and the Belmonts, Amazing!
Sabbath, Deep Purple, Dean Martin, etc. All the great stuff.
I hate all the techno ****, and the "rock" of today.

I don't like the look of the cars today, I love 50's and 70's American cars mainly. One of my favorites being the '57 Chevy. The 50's cars were made with detail and made to last.

I don't like that people don't wear hats with suits anymore.
I like the clothes of 50's (men), 60's (both sexes) and 70's (both!)

Just think of the movie A Bronx Tale. Thats where I wanna be.
Sure thats been glamourised and everything but I just think I'd like it better than today.
Kids have no respect for anything anymore. Young people don't know any manners. Wheres 'ladies first' gone? Everything like that!
Everybody needs to be entertained these days!

I want something real, actually going on with people that will really make them emotional. Drugs and alcohol [kind of overrated when it comes to psa?] Can anyone give me ideas about real issues going on that will really reach out to people?

I would appreciate serious answers please.

Iwas watching coverage of the Jena 6 march on TV last night and they showed a lot of the video of the marchers and their surroundings. It seems they were all standing around with their coolers having a BBQ and stuff, even laughing and joking, and it got me wondering.

In YOUR opinion what percentage of people were truly their to support the Jena 6 and equal rights? And how many were just along for the free trip, bus ride, BBQ and a free T shirt?

I may be assuming here on the roughage aspect but why else would anyone sit on the toilet to read when there's a nice Queen Anne chair in the den or a comfy bed with a little reading light? I mean, i don't go to the library, take my pants down and sit on a chair with the seat cut out of it to read Vanity Fair.

My wife is a teacher, she just got a new 7 year old student in her 1st grade class. The parents have been "home schooling" the little girl. She should be in 3rd grade, but she is educated to a pre-kindergarten level, so they "dropped" her in 1st grade. She has a 4 letter name, and can't spell it. She doesn't even know her abc's. No, she is not mentally handicapped, just not a lick of education.

The mom said that she tried buying the girl the little workbooks from the teacher store, but the girl didn't do anything with them. Hello, the girl can't read, not a letter, how do you think she is going to do anything in a workbook?

I feel so bad for this girl, she is so far behind that, even with being two grades lower than she should be, she will never catch up. She can't be blamed, how can she learn anything when her so-called "home-schooling parents" don't teach anything!?!

I mean after all what exactly did he do? He strikes me as a very intelligent man not afraid to speak his mind and though we might not have the same political views that doesn't make one "evil."

What did he do exactly?

It seems to me that people in this day and age are just stupid. Many even lack common sense and don't seem to be concerned with learning, reading, and educating themselves. It also makes no sense that since the Internet is out there with all this information that people don't learn anything off of it. There is no excuse not to know anything if you're constantly on the computer 24/7, unless you are doing useless crap.

Hello ppl. This question is basically asking for advice. See for a while now ive been seeking help but havnt yet grabbed it. Im having trouble figuring out who i am and fitting in, im not homosexual or anything, not in a million years. I beleive i am paranoid, i think im different to everyone else, people look at me differently and dont think of me as a normal person (when this probably isnt true) but i think it anyway and cant stop. Thats just one problem. Another one is that im having trouble figuring out who i am, theres so many different stereotypes and different trends, cultures etc. i dont have a clue what i fall into, because when i try to be one thing, i see another and want to be that, so really im confused, does anyone else suffer from this? If they have but dont anymore...help me (and please dont say be yourself, cos i dont kno wat that is)

This is perhaps my LAST question(s)

(in fact its not only a question, its a farewell from me since my other questions got deleted and I couldnt read most of the answers)

Before I go, I will pay my last respects to my good friends and contacts and everyone reading this

I will request to think with their pure hearts, about the lives of all those unfortunate individuals who have been pushed back, not given a chance to prove their worth and potential. I request everyone to charitize and forget prejudice break the wall around oneself that keeps one from being what one should be

Dont give racial prejudice a chance.Dont let poverty remain a norm for all those suffering from it.Every bit of goodhearted service helps make this world a better place.Spread the love

Light a candle in your heart for everyone who wanted to live a life the more fortunate had hindered them from

I bid all of you goodbye

& a grand THANK YOU to all my wonderful contacts whom I will miss soooo much :(

Vacation spot # 1

The package coast you 1500 dollars it includes airfare, and hotel. You will be on the beach. The focus of this vacation are drinking, relaxing pretty much just being a beach bum. I will go back to your home life wishing you were back at the beach.

Vacation # 2
Also costs 1500 dollars. airfare and shelter and provided. On this vacation you will be staying in a cabin and spending more time with your family/friends. the focus of the vacation is to get back in touch with a simple life. Not much cell phone use, computers...ect. hopefully you will be able to take what you learned here and apply it to your way of living at home.
