Tonight, someone said to me,
"Don't be worried about throwing stones in a glass house",

Can anyone tell me what is mean't by this....... I have an idea but would welcome your thoughts?

Basically, this means that you should be careful not to criticize others if you have weaknesses or secrets that would or could be brought out as a result of your criticism. Another way of putting it is, people who live in glass houses should not throw stones. The message is that if someone picks up a stone and throws it back at you, they will break open a hole in your house.

Well it basicly means don't judge others before you judge yourself. This is actually a warning against hypocrisy. Before you go accusing someone of some wrong doing, make sure that you are not guilty as well because your accusation could come back and get you.

Even if you aren't catholic or christian. Have you ever heard the story about Jesus telling those guys "those who are without sin throweth the first stone". I can't remember the whole thing it's just an example.

Well, if someone tells you NOT to throw stones in glass houses, it means that be mindful of what you about other people ( mean things that is) as they too ( or other people ) can say bad things about you as well.

Normally If one rep is not so good don't complain about another ones. What she is saying about is it doesn't mater.
