I mean after all what exactly did he do? He strikes me as a very intelligent man not afraid to speak his mind and though we might not have the same political views that doesn't make one "evil."

What did he do exactly?

President Ahmadinejad, I must admit, is a very shrewd and intelligent politician.

He knows just which buttons to push in the West to get us all flustered at him.

This enables him to go to the Iranian people and "prove" the Infidels are all against the "Great Persian Empire".

Also, the covert operations wing of the Iranian army, the Revolutionary Guards Quds Force, is actively suppling arms to insurgents in Iraq - they have captured arms with tracable markings and serial numbers - as well as terrorist agencies such as Hezbollah.

To say nothing of their clandestine atomic programs they have been trying to get away with for years.

Yet their declaration the Holocaust is a myth is nothing new in the Muslim world, just them stoking up support from the Arabs and Palestinians.

It is not a question of evil, it is pragmatism, if it were not for the West, they would be fighting each other.

Ahmadinejad wants to stay in power, like ANY politician.

Threatened to wipe Israel off the map, denied the Holocaust, and allegedly funds terrorism and insurgency in Iraq. Also allegedly secretly developing a nuclear weapon.

The problem is, this was a political stunt so he can go back to Iran and say, "see, the Americans are so unreasonable, I offered something nice, and they spat in my face." This will make him more popular and we played right into his hands.

Because the US has proof that Iran is interfering with the war in Iraq by funding and arming militants, maybe.

Every year the Iranian gov allocates tax money to fund terrorist organizations.

006 - Not 'allegedly'. They admit to funding terrorism.

If I was president of the USA, Iran wouldn't exist.

He has goaded the US continually, continues to work on a nuclear device, and would take over Iraq the moment the US left.

But I guess that's no big deal.

He will start a war with us. I have no doubts.

He wants to go to Ground Zero. If he did, he'd have pictures taken of him smiling, and back in his country he'd proudly point to how Iran helped create Ground Zero.

They weren't letting him visit Ground Zero because it's a construction zone and is unsafe for people to walk around.

Well, because they've got their heads up Bush's **** and full of propaganda that they can't think for themselves. Anybody/everybody Arab or who dons a "turban" is a terrorist.

I think you answered your own question. I think Iran's president is being rejected because he ain't taken sh!t off nobody and runnin' his country the way he sees fit w/o U.S. bullcrap 'n bully interference.
