I just got totally burned at my new job. They admitted there was nothing wrong with my quality of work. They wouldn't admit it was because I complained of harrassment, some of it harrassment about being jewish. They also didn't like my rejections of invitations to attend church. But when they fired me, they just said "it's not a match, for whatever reason". Exact words. Two of the worst offenders had a discussion out in the open when I wouldn't let one of them put a cross on my dry-erase board about me needing to get drummed out of the job as my punishment for not accepting jesus. I don't see how this helped them any, and it certainly didn't convince me to accept their viewpoint either. If christians are so holy, why are they so demonic when they find out we're jewish? I don't think jesus would have done that to any jew. Also, this isn't the first time this has been done to me. I don't think I want to 'play' with christians anymore.

Do you agree violence begins at home
I think violence ends at home
are people violent if they were heard would they be violent
people are always at war! it is very bad
is that why bullying is let to continue in most schools
cho in virginia was clearly unhurd yet 33 people were killed his life seems now to of been counted
i think maybe if you witness violence you do not want to commit violence you tell me
should anger have to be expressed it is a natual emotion surely people have a right to be heard yet victims are silenced

My supervisor asked me to belly dance at her Moroccan-themed party. She is a very classy lady and it will be in front of judges and lawyers. She and her husband lived in Morocco for years and I will be very classy with it. No touching or anything very sexy. But I am concerned about the dynamics:

1) She IS my supervisor

2) I've learned so much about professional standards that I am a bit confused

3) Thus far 2 people have not agreed that I should do it

I personally don't have a problem and I could be overreacting...any thoughts?

Thanks

Why is it people can't use their freedom of speech. You can't say anything these days without fear of being fired from work or being bullied by a group of people who don't agree with you.

If people want to be racist and show their ignorance let them. These are the same people who wouldn't dare say offensive things in public, unless supported by a large crowd of other morons. They hide behind their computer because they know they are idiots.

Don Imus got fired, why? Because he is too dumb to think before he speaks? So he loses his job for an opinion, what a joke. Just because he was a moron for 5 seconds he loses his job.

I think Answers is a joke. Can't even say someone could catch an STD (can't name specific one's) without screeners jumping on your case. Two of the STDs I mentioned were okay, but God forbid I mention the big "A" word and it's a crime. What a joke! The guy I made the remark to was a pig who was asking how to tricking women into sleeping with him. They sure weren't q

For example, you've changed the place of living and your new home is absolutely different, different people, mentality, culture, religion and traditions. And you know that you will live in the other country for several years or maybe even whole your life.

How would you behave yourself in the other country? Would you change yourself or would you keep being yourself? How do you think, all those factors (like religion, culture, different mentality, people) would be able to affect you in a way or no?

Just interesting to know your point of view.
Thank You!

And for those who spend far too much time here, why don't you have much of a life? This doesn't apply to home bound people or medically restricted people.
