Well coming up my family would say never go to bed angry you dont know if you see the next day but with me I notice when you hold a grudge its turns into your problem and not the person your holding the grudge against so all that anger is built up in you and from stress to anxiety it hurts you in the end

Yes. It took me a long time to realize it. Grudges cause stress which isn't good for your health. For example, you lose sleep, become irritable and over-eat.

If someone has done me bad, I try to avoid them as much as possible if I can't forgive them.

Yes.

Holding grudges is damaging to the grudge-holder, him/herself, both physiologically, psychologically, and spiritually.

no, bc i hold grudges against people who consistently disrespect me. if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. I have tried to talk to my mother in law about he nosiness for months and finally i had enough of her meddling. I finally didn't talk to her for 6 months. She finally agreed to back off and respect my privacy (i have my own mother for Christs sake I don't need 2) if i didn't t stick up for myself and draw the line she would've kept going. people need to know that their are consequences for their behavior and how they hurt others. its not wrong to hold a grudge, its wrong not to forgive!

i think people should hold grudges until the other person makes good because then they will learn their actions were wrong.
