I don't believe in standing up for the pledge because I believe that it means I'm worshiping it. In the Ten Commandments it say "Thou shalt have no other gods before me, thou shalt not make unto the any graven image, or any likeness that is in the Heaven above or that is in the Earth beneath or the is in the water under the Earth. Thou shalt not by down thyself to them nor serve them for I am the lord thy God." I am not Jehovah but this is what I believe and everyday my teacher gives me grief about not standing, saying that "it's not against my religion so I have to stand" Everyday I refuse I don't mean any disrespect it's just I don't understand why get upset about.
