Shallow in character that is. If there is one statement that can typify our century it is that the common person on the street has become as shallow as a puddle on the side of the road.

The past has not seen so much me-ism, so much self important arrogance. While it is true that these flaws of the human character have been present through out history, there has not been this level before. Today we see the mark of this society inscribed on almost every school age kid, the glorification of getting the fast car and the girl. In history 'values' were instilled into these same aged kids. Do not miss understand here, the values I speak of are the values of kindness and truth, of fidelity and the pursuit of honour over pursuit of riches.

To use the words of then, "It makes me sick to the soul.” So, my question is Why? Why is what we have today, our society, our callousness for others and hatred of difference that comes this self assured arrogance so mach better than what was in history? Is progress worth the price?

whats does oriental means?? referring to a human..

People who are born rich have it easy from the beginning..
...yet theyll never the feeling of satifaction after accomplishing something.. they are empty inside
People who are goodlooking have it easy...
...yet they have to deal alot with jealousy and people being mean to them and bringing them down
Popular people ... always have to seem perfect and maintain an image and have people criticizing them.. same with celebrities..
Goodlooking people sometimes nobody cares about them...
It is lonely at the top...
Poor people do not have to live up to any expectations.. their lives are simple and that is enviable.. to be satisfied with simple things like a meal..
There are doctors who wanna be garbage men and garbage men who wanna be doctors..
I wish everyone would get along and be nice in the world =) whatever..

I can't decide whether or not if i should go to my senior prom. I went to my junior prom, but it was okay, not that great. I feel that at the same time if i don't go i might be missing out on something.

I ask that because it was proven and later made known by rescuers who saw aaliyah that although granted she was badly burned, that her face, hair,neck, and even think they said if I wasn't mistaked her hands were as they were before she died. Did her mom inspect her body in her casket before her funeral? I also heard that yes, her casket at her funeral was in fact closed, but that she had a private wake at the funeral home and her casket was open at the private wake. That what I heard. Do any of you have any facts or anything on this? Please tell me, I'd really like to know.

Whenever the slightest little things happens to me, its like I blow up. Someone will do something as simple as honking their horn at me and I totally freak. my heart is pounding so hard like its gonna pop outa my chest and Im breathing so hard and my fingernails are digging into the steering wheel like Im digging them into into their face.

Someone will say the slightest little thing to me and I will cry for hours about it. So hard I can barely even speak.

What do you think is making me act like this? Im clueless?
