What society wants, society gets, and right now, they want living sex objects. Who cares if they aren't seen as humans? They are just for entertainment. Also, many of these young women who expose themselves on videos such as that are thinking that they are going somewhere in the music industry, when really, they are just for one time use. Not only does society dehumanize them, but we use and abuse them.

I think they're trying to live up to society strandards in the music videos. There's a lot of pressure on these stars to look a certain way and be a certain way. So yeah that's what I think atleast.

It's not only in music videos, it's everywhere in the media
if you want to sell parfume, a car ...
that's the way it has always been and will always be
there is nothing wrong with it because it works, it's what people want even women want to see beautiful women in commercials and music videos

Interesting question.Because I am a woman,I do think alot of hip hop videos exploit women.Bands like the Black Eyed Peas are a good example of how you can make hip hop videos alluring,without being sleazy.

I don't like the way it looks and I won't allow my neice to watch rap videos but the rappers aren't making those girls look any other way then what they want to look like.

Yes and I think it should be banned. I don't understand why when Whites do and say things it's racist, but when Blacks say and do the same things, it's artistry.
