I get a call from a # I don't know and the person does not speak. there is a 6-10 sec. pause then hangs up. Why do some people do this?

many people think that as we use robots more and they get Artificial intelligence that they will eventually revolt. Wouldn't a more logical explanation be that it will be a repeat of the slave thing in america? will there be a new underground railroad? Will there be more moments like this.

I am going for a school assignment. Should I dress nicely or tone it down. I want to look respectful. I was thinking jeans and an off white knitted sweater and tennis shoes. It will be 65 degrees and I cant wear heels becuase Its in San Francisco and I have to walk. I am just not sure becuase im really white and i dont wanna seem obvious or like I'm trying to show off in any way. Once again I want to look respectful of the exhibit. Thank you soo much!! i dont wanna go to school i dont ******* care about it and its a waste of time who cares anyway whether i learn some crap im going to forget tommorrow. i hate talking in general some dumb **** comes up to me and is like hello and all i can think is great now i have to say hello back or you will stare at me waiting until i have walked away forcing me to vacate my former standing position. If you see a surly looking guy standing there he does not want you to talk to him get lost. Theres this annoying guy who comes up to me and talks to me like once every couple weeks and last time i almost punched him in the face. a whole third of why school is annoying is because people think its necessary to start conversations with me.
My real question is what is the fastest way to take over the world?

For some reason, people have a big tendency to stare at me. I'm not weird or anything like that...I'm mixed Puerto Rican & Irish-Italian & I get stared at by so many hispanics, both male and female. I also get a lot of (older) blacks, esp women giving me the case of the mean evil-eye stare for whatever reason I don't know, I don't stare or look at people funny. Wtf? I get told often I'm good looking, but is that really the case? I don't think I'm that good looking.....I know sometimes people just look for whatever reason, but I catch it all the time even when I'm NOT looking. I don't dress flashy or do anything to stand out. Any explanation? Try not to be (too) rude with your answers please. Some pics of me if it helps:

In North America the culture suggests that men must always be doing something to impress women. Which countries (besides third world countries) could I move to find a wife who will treat me as the man? The decision maker. The head of the household.

It's not that I disrespect women. I love a strong woman who is working towards improving her life and is capable of making decisions. But what I am seeing in our culture is that men constantly have to do something to impress their woman. I am looking for a woman from a culture where in a marriage I am the man. We would each work to please each other in every way.

This question may seem like I disrespect women. That is not the case. What I am looking for is a woman to love and who will treat me as good as I would treat someone I love.

As much as I find the question pointless, on applications/surveys, it is sometimes asked what race you are. What do people from Spain pick? Even more so, what about the people from Portugal?

I've been working in France and my fiancée lives with our 7 months old daughter in Chicago, IL. Recently, she has "renewed" a lost connection with her friend male friend in Chicago and they talk on the phone and stuff. My fiancée and this guy were very close and they even had sex in the past. We have plans to get married when I go to the US! I dont like the idea of her being in contact with someone she had been intimate with(!!) i have expressed my views to her and she tells me she doesnt see no "wrong" in this because they now are good friends....am I being inconsiderate? or is this normal for me not to want her to keep in touch with this person...(I have never met this person) ...she also says he is her only friend and she needs someone to talk to....any suggestions??????

ok so last week i went to new york city. why is it so different there then the south, in the south if you bump into someone you say "oh sorry" or "excuse me" we talk to each other down here alot. people from the south seem to be more friendly. why is that? one of the guys that went with me opened a door for a women in NY and she was affended? why is that? is it our southern hospitality?
