I'd like some honest, mature answers. Why is it that a lot of people say girls are turned on by a positive, up beat, confident personality but conviniently leave out the fact that it won't work if you're beyond ugly?

Many girls don't think about, or plan a long term relationship in this case. They simply like the person. It the same way with "stupid" guys. Why do the stupid ones get all the chicks? In humans, as with other animals, (bats), as they develop, from an embryo, there are trade offs. Looks for brains, and so on. In bats, the bigger their "member" is, the smaller their brains. And so with humans, but not to that big degree. Girls are somehow atractted to the dumb ones because they think: "if he has survived this long, with low intelligence, I want his genes" It is Darwin's theory of sexual selection.

Good looking guys are a dime a dozen.
Nice and good looking guys are STILL a dime a dozen.
Chemistry is what it takes.
Why date an ugly guy that is nice, when there are hordes of good looking nice men?

love is basically the hormones in your body reacting...and they react to attractive people. Unless the girl is EXTREMELY deep or something
