Im actually afraid to ask this question, what if someone comes to my house and arrests me for violating the civil rights of people who want to come to this country illegally, raise the mexican flag and p i s s all over AMERICA.

The answer is plain and simple: Politics.
The politicians in this country are allowing illegal aliens to come into this country and allowing them to vote in elections. If they ( Predominantly Democrats ) can get a majority of the Latin vote, that enhances their chances of staying in office.
The plan to put National Guard troops on the border was nothing but a smokescreen. They have no powers to detain or arrest. They cannot fire their weapons or protect themselves. From the information I received, they are supposed to withdrawl from an area if threatened by drug dealers, smugglers, or "coyotes", and notify the Border Patrol.
There was an incident which happened recently of an Arizona National Guard post which was overrun by thugs coming in from the Mexican border. The Guardsmen were not allowed to fight back. They were ordered to withdraw, which is a total disgrace.
Until there is a major terrorist attack on this country which originates from those who have illegally crossed the Southern or Northern borders of the US, I seriously doubt that the government will seal that area off.

Not all illegal immigrants are from Mexico...Actually 50,000 come each year from Ireland. Saw it on CNN. They'll be raising the ol' Irish flag in Times Square and throwing haggus all over NYC. Well, that's like saying after arresting someone who robs a bank, that they should just go straight to jail without a trial. The US has to punish the people who protect our borders because they break the law. That's what's great about government you can change laws so alleged criminals have no rights. As long as you elect the right politicians (no pun intended). The US has to punish the people who protect our borders since they broke the law just as the illegal immigrants that broke the law.

It is about the money. I think sometimes the illegals cause less problems that the citizens.
