Women were denied the right to vote until 1920.Men felt insecure because they felt that womens right to vote would make them less able to control women.Women earned much less money than men. It's still true today(women earn about 80% percent for the similar work of males today)Women are considered as weak helpless and dependent by some men. This is an anacrocism carried over from the days when manual labor made men seem as superior to women. We have never had a female president. The objectification of women by some men is inhuman and lacks empathy. You cannot place women on a pedestal and and at the same time look down on them. This is a paradox and indication of flawed reasoning by some men.

Faced with picking up a load from the ground, someone who doesn't know better will bend over to it and risk straining the back. Bending the knees has to be taught - it doesn't take much teaching, I admit, but why does it take any? Shouldn't instinct tell us to do such a simple thing?

when me or ppl I know go into department stores we sometimes end up getting followed around by a worker or security guard who arent trying to be very "sneaky".
they make it very obvious that they are following/watching us, even though they may not admit it.
They ask if we need help finding something when we dont. that makes me just not want to shop there.
We do have money, otherwise we would not go into the store...right.
plz no smart-a** suggestions.
Why do they do this and what makes them only seem to do this to certain ppl more than others?

Should the United States make a strong effort to apply secondary prevention efforts in the case of abuse? Should, for example, teenage mothers be tracked, monitored, and required to attend parenting classes?

Why is that name always made fun of or known as a nerdy and stupid name? What if somebody was actually named that? I was just wondering why "Billy Bob" is thought of as dorky, nerdy, stupid, and dumb.

my friends were going to put our "labels" on sticky name tags & walk around the mall holding hands
like...
"emo"
"prep"
"jock"
etc.

but we couldnt find a label for me
we tried basing it off of music
i love rap, rock, pop, emo, pretty much anything except screamo

then we tried clothes
i love hollister
& hot topic
& i love abercrombie
& fast forward

then we tried the guys that i like
i like...
a "nerd"
hes not really but thats what everyone here says
hes actually reaaaaally nice
& cute just so you know
& i LOVE a HOT guy who got in leo but hes super sweet & i went out with him already but i still like him

so i just need to know what label i am

my favorite thing to do is dancing though if that helps
