And so forth, and no I don't blame the dog, I blame the owners for not cleaning up after their dog.

I took my 20 month old daughter to the local park on Thursday morning and it is sectioned off the keep dogs out, as we were walking in the grass section we have to dodge dog mess and then when she was making her way to the swing there was mess on the floor - it makes me really mad that these dog owners cannot just pick it up and get rid of it so the children can play without sitting or walking in it.

Yes I am - it makes my blood boil. I am a dog owner and ALWAYS pick up after me. But so many people don't - they pretend that they haven't seen their dog do it - I see it happen time and time again. I have to say that quite often, the worse places for mess are the poshest areas of town - perhaps it is beneath them to pick up?

Here's a tip (and I'm a dog owner who clears up). If you know someone who repeatedly does this, wait for them and catch their dog in the act. Ask them nicely to take the mess with them, if they refuse get firmer and firmer with them but if they get nasty, pick up the mess in year hand and rub it in the dog's fur. If the owner comes near you swipe them with the dirty hand. once you get indoors you're hand will be clean in seconds. The dog owner has taken his mess home and will now spend hours trying to get the sh1t out his dogs fur. priceless.

Yes, especially when you take the kids out you have to be on poo alert. You would think they would be a little more considerate!

Agreed. It would be much nicer if they took along something to pick it up. And yes, it is the inconsiderate owners at fault. I think you spot on!

i actually never did like it. i don't know what makes it not littering when the litter is instead a piece of sticky, stinking feces.

Yes, it is terrible. You don't mention a solution though.
