Health: women are more likely to communicate with their healthcare providers, men less so hence illnesses affect the two genders disproportionately. Men pay more for their insurance cover at a young age as they are presumed to take more risks.
Education: Oxbridge graduates show that men take more first class honours than women grads have no idea why this was the case in recent years and before

From what I understand, males, are disadvantaged at school, don't live as long as women, more likely to commit crime and be victims of violent crime, and are kept under tight control by feminist inspired legislation in the workplace and society generally. Politics has been feminised, so that only metro-sexual males and gays can survive. This also extends to the TV media and the teaching profession as well as the public sector.

Gender will always play a huge role in life chances, because it represents a persons self view. There are indications that females are obtaining freedoms not shared with males.

Gender is gender and it is one of these things it is what you make it. Old traditions die hard....but actions speak louder than words and a sensible approach to the issue reaps rewards. For example am unimpressed by women who compete with men physically.......or who try to behave like men.......
it does still have bearing in society butless so now than ever before and we should rejoice both male and female that at last we have more of a level playing field. If anything the male is the one to suffer for now but think that will redress.

Boy did you step in it asking that one- I have a lot to say on this one! As a woman, a mother, and a wife, I am expected to work outside the home, do laundry and cooking and cleaning, take the kids to doctor's appointments, Go to PTA meetings, help with homework, plan Birthdays and social events, and the only thanks I get is on payday. Womens lib bit me in the butt. Men work 8 hours, take out the trash and take a nap, but women are still doing everything they did before, plus work outside the home. Where's the equality in that?
