does anyone know what the orgins of the name Solano?

Cheif Solano, or Sem-Yoto, was a native american chief in northern california during the 1800's. He was later given the spanish name, Francisco Solano.

He has a county named after him in the northern bay area of california. I was raised in Solano County and also went to Solano Junior High School ;)
