Every time we turn around there's been another teenage suicide or school shooting.Teenagers are getting pregnant and some of them are on drugs.Where are the parents?

Do you think that today's society is too wrapped up in "keeping up with the Jones' " and name brand this, name brand that, and trying to give their kids everything that they are losing sight of the simple things? To me, it seems like kids these days haven't any respect for their elders, hard work, or the value of a dollar. Like they are just a GIMME MORE and I don't have to do anything to get what I want (except ask mommy and daddy). What do you think?

So literally, I simply want people to respond with locations to have sex. POSSIBLE locations. Who knows, maybe I can insert it into Wikipedia. This is regarding Anna Nicole baby Dannielynn. Cable news channel reported last night that baby is only about 10 pounds and only drinks formula and sleeps 16 hours a day. Baby should be double that weight and should be eating baby cereal by now and number one jars of baby food and sleeping way too much. Could be sick from drugs mommy did while pregnant. Folks can email and urge bahimian government to place baby in protective custody until dna test done. After all, the baby is with mr. Stearn who allowed pregnant mommy to do drugs and videotaped it and joked about it. He would not care enough to take care of her properly and she could be very ill.

I heard some time ago that the KKK (an American racist group) experienced a dramatic decline in membership and power when a radio program routinely made fun of the group. (Old men playing around in white sheets like little kids, etc.) Children joined in the mockery as they listened to the radio, making some parents distance themselves from the movement. This mockery seemed much more effective than arguing with KKK members or insulting them in a serious tone, as these sorts of attacks only made the KKK's hatred (and power) stronger.

Sometimes I wonder if mockery is the best way to protect the next generation from the evils of religious fundamentalism.

I do NOT want to write for newspapers because it is hard and unstructured and you would not get paid a lot. He said you could be like a copy editor or layout editor, which pays more and is structured, but he said to be a layout or copy editor you have to have a specific skill, and we don't seem to be focusing specifically on those skills, we just seem to be learning to write for newspapers.He keeps saying most of the people in the class will probably end up being news reporters because he said 90% of people end up being news reporters and only 10% are editors. But I do NOT want to be a reporter! I can't stand it and I know I would not want to do it. If anything I would want to be a copy editor, but I don't even think I want to work with a newspaper at all. Aren't there any jobs I can easily get out of college that would not have to do with a newspaper or magazine? Like aren't there any other writing jobs, or any other jobs at all I could get, even if they don't have to do with writing?

Are you just not aware of all the different hair textures out there, because honestly you can think that caucasian hair is the only straight hair but i know caucasuans who FLAT IRON their hair daily and have stingy or frizzy hair and some with unruly curls. Many other races have straight hair so why not say that black women are imitating them? but either way black women have many different hair textures. In my family we have straight and wavy hair, for mines to look straight i simply air dry it in a pony tail set and im out the door.i think we live in an age where people should be free to color cut, style their hair how ever they choose. their shouldnt be such a negative opionion on them. In reguard to Want and Need, I would like to know peoples thoughts on what is really important, what they think will carry them through life; is it latest fashions, a big car, lot's of friends, all the money, a basketball, a beard? Times have been changing for several years. Are we going to stand up and tell our neighbors finally that they are in fact morons and that they need to eat their dogs before suffering in my hands. Maybe it's just time to stop having kids and having government programs take care of them, surely the parents are not. Does it frustrate you when you read a question that makes you want to shake some sense into the person because you cannot believe people are truly that stupid, 15 other people agree with you and flame the asker, only to have the asker give a "Best Answer" to some equally insipid moron with no morals or ethics? It seems like they really really want a particular answer to a question they've already decided what the answer should be. 99.999% of the responders call the person a dumb butt, and that one person gives the way off the wall answer and then supposedly "validates" the askers position. Does the asker feel vindicated because someone else is as stupid as they are?
