Is anyone else sick of how many property programmes you see on t.v?

Yes I am sick of these horrible programs that cost nothing to make and require no imagination I am also fed up with celebrity shows who have no celebrities on them just people who know celebs. Especialy on the BBC!

I quite like seeing the proprties but I can't stand the smug property hunters who say predictable things like "oh look at the view! I can see myself sitting here with a glass of wine". And then there's the estate agent speak with words such as "double aspect", and "family bathroom". (it's a bathroom, ok!) Just show us the flippin' houses and avoid giving us boring details about the potential buyers, "who later decided that the houses were not for them, but intend to return to the area later". Yeah, right!

Your authentic a number of those shows are terrible. i like residing house Hunters, yet even they at times get a pair or individual who comments negatively on each little thing, yet its no longer that undesirable. Yes, these programmes are put on at the behest of the crooks in government and the banks to get everyone to pay money to buy or renovate houses so you get further into debt and the banks who rule this country can make more money when they repossess them.

Yea its cr**, t.v. isnt the same as it used to be, i miss sitting down with the family and watching some good quality programs with good actors! 1000s of channels and 3/4 are about buying and fixing houses!

No. I gave up watching telly about 3 years ago. It's such utter rubbish that I get no entertainment from it whatsoever. Nothing but reality tv, other people's lives - warts and all, make-you-jealous wish you were here doing this programs and Big Brother (lets see who's going to b*tch about who and get dumped). Whatever happend to escapism? Take me away from my daily problems and transport me into happy land!!!

Our whole current national economy is largely based on house sales, thats why these shows are pushed out so much.

we have no industrial base anymore & once the house prices drop there will be a huge recession...so they keep on pushing this stuff.
