why do some people take pleasure in platonic love?

i enjoy it in a not-at-all-enjoyable way and wonder why...?

They have more freedom to take about any kind of relationships or topics , and due to that, people get very close to each other. It's a lot easier to tell someone that you cheated on your wife then to tell your wife. Platonic relationships verses a sexual one, sex does something to a relationship....people just change afterwards. Platonic relationships are harder to find, but rewarding, sex is easy to find.
