to other races and religions? I read so many racist comments on here, from both white people and black people. There are not a huge number of other races living where I do, but there are some. In school I was friends with an Indian boy, a chinese girl and a girl from the Phillapines. They never got any trouble off anybody, there was never a racial incident at all at my school. I know there is some racism around here but not to the extent of anything I have read on here. I live in Wales and I think it is a pretty tolerant place. Maybe it's because I live in a quiet town. We recently had alot of Polish immigrants come here to work and there hasn't been any trouble. Where do you think is the most tolerant palce in the world? Or do you think racism is everywhere?

This is just something I'm curious about. Not trying to make fun. But, how come for example where there are say 2 gay girls. One dresses like a man. And same for guys. When there's a gay male couples, one grows their hair long and dresses more feminine. If you are gay and both guys, why do you try to look like female? Or if both women gays, why try to look more male if you are attacted to women. If you are female and gay and attracted to female, why the partner tries to look male. Just odd to me is all. Not being mean honest.

I'm a freshman in high school and as for those of you who have been in my footsteps I'm still trying to figure out where I want to be 5 years from now.

So far, I have a GPA that's in the 4.0 scale, and I'm part of the student body council. If my confidence isn't torn up by the time I'm out of here, I might think about applying to Yale, Harvard, and UVA. I want to pursue a career as a lawyer, fashion journalist, archeologist, historian, CIA/FBI agent, psychologist, businesswoman, or an entertainer.

I live in a small town and live the same life everyday.. so I'm hoping I can be successful and get to travel to exotic places and meet new people when I'm older.. that is, if things don't get too worse in the world as it is today.

Can anyone give me any advice? Like what to do right now? Or anything that can change a young girl's life. I also might enjoy listening to your experiences and life stories as well. Thanks!

There has been alot of covererage of racist stuff on tv and mags. It may be different in other parts of the uk such as London and other major cities. Where I live there is more of an minority of different cultures. I do live in a major town in the uk however I must say that there does seem to be a divide between (us and them) horrible way to put it. But seriously, there is this non spoken difference and I dont know how than can be broken. I think it makes you feel that people from another culture dont want to or cant trust us to be in any way part of there lives. Its hard to get through that barrer.

Girls, don't you hate being the less attractive friend, I mean I love my friend, but she always gets apprached by men, and when we are together, guys always approach her and not me, if there are 2 guys approaching us, please believe she is 1st pick. I'm not jealous, I'm just annoyed because I can not get a guy to approach me if I walked down the street naked. I dress up and fix my hair and still never get approached, she wears her work cloths from taco bell and does not fix her hair, but still gets approached, the funny thing is we are both are shy people, so it has nothing to do with personality? Has anyone else experienced this? Don't you hate being the "unattractive friend"?

They can't even tell us what the weather will be like next week so how can they tell us what it will be in the next decade?

Why do you acknowledge science has the power to predict weather when time and time again they have shown they can't do it accurately?

remember that record setting season of hurricanes they predicted..........

Why do you think people (non-black) have a problem with admitting that Ancient Egypt was a black civilization?

Is it that they just believe in Hollywood, have inherited traditional assumptions, are just oblivious to the facts regarding it, racially motivated, never thought about it, or something deeper... why?

Even on dictionary.com it said it was a caucasian civilization for a while, but they have changed that for the present time. Yet, they still don't speak about the truth of the matter.

it seems a little pathetic. its almost as if they do these things only to impress others. if they were to benefit themselves or others or enjoyed themselves while doing these things, thats a different story. but to do something "just to say ive done it" just doesn't make sense and seems like a waste of time to me.

i could be wrong...if so, tell me why.
