I went out on a...date? last night and felt like I had nothing to say. I blame it on being tired, but also, when I really do like someone, I don't talk much! ughh. I tried to ask a lot about him, but what are some other things to ask/say? I want to be seen as the intelligent person I am, not just some stupid girl that stands still and looks pretty.

Also. Not just for dating. Just conversation starters/restarters for when things get dull.

Do people in Australia hire landscape gardners?

I am a landscape gardner in US and I have always thought about moving to Australia and starting a business there. Is Australia real big about that kind of thing , like here in US, or do most people take care of their own?
Here , in nicer neighborhoods, many people hire people to cut their grass and tend to their beds around the house with mulch and pruning and such.
Also, how illegal is this you think for me to do that? If I am not going through the formal process?

For highschool and lowr Do you question the human and animal rights in your comunity , school, state, country?

If you do you are not alone do you know where the meat in your lunch comes from? was it from an inbred chicken fed hormones in a 1 x 1 cage, is your school uniform made in a sweatshop somewhere in a third world country where 10 year olds are spending hours making things for little or no pay maybe they are even slaves, do you wonder about the war in iraq how our forces can be just as cruel as osama and alqida? Do you know how many adults and aouthoritie figures will refuse to listen to a minor simply because we were born in a later year than them. It's not our fault that we are forced to use objects or eat foods that were made in cruel und unnecasary means it's just that there are so many things that were made like this it is impossible to completely avoid them. did you know there are over 250 million minors working in sweatshops around the world? stand up and fight

Why are people so ignorant?

How can people in the 21st century still believe in a god when things like Hurricane Katrina, The Holocaust, The Tsunamis, The Klu Klux Klan, Wars, Saddam Hussein, etc. are allowed to occur on "God's Green Earth"? In my personal opinion the creation of most of the world's religions was because of misunderstanding of natural occurances...

Are you really African American?

I've been thinking about this alot and I'm wondering if it's incorrect to call a black peron born in the US an African American. Many black folks in the US have not the slightest idea of African Culture. We don't call whites Euro Americans so it seems fitting not to call blacks African Americans. Anyone born in the US is just an American in my eyes.
