I am a landscape gardner in US and I have always thought about moving to Australia and starting a business there. Is Australia real big about that kind of thing , like here in US, or do most people take care of their own?
Here , in nicer neighborhoods, many people hire people to cut their grass and tend to their beds around the house with mulch and pruning and such.
Also, how illegal is this you think for me to do that? If I am not going through the formal process?

well, as an aussie who has worked as a landscape gardener on and off for many years, I'll do my best to answer your question.

first of all, don't. simple. you'd get caught by immigration quick smart if you're thinking to do it illegally. that would result in an ignomious deportation. we have laws which prevent illegal aliens taking aussie's jobs just like the US.

second, there are many many unemployed people in australia. you'd be denying someone a job in a country you mustn't know a lot about if you're posting such a question here.

third, of course we take care of our front and backyards!

fourth, gardening's getting harder because there's big problems with water shortages all throughout the country due to global warming. You'd have to do a bucketload of research on water - wise gardens and desert plant ecology before you even thought about venturing overseas.

stay at home and get a job where you've got more of an idea about ecology and gardens and water and stuff.

Love and Light,

Jarrah

Most Aussie's do their own dirty work, The rich mongrels will hire someone (too lazy to do it themselves) And Jamie Drurie is the most famous Australian landscaper here, So he might not like having to compete with an illegal immigrant lol just joking,
