The question is: Asuming that the article shows a valid account of women knowing love better, could it be that male dominace is wrong?
Second question: Could you change to this system?

I don't necessary think male dominance is all wrong, but it's not really for me. I go up to men and they go up to me, but I think it's women who actually think of more than sex when they meet someone new. We think about whether this person is a good person, can be a good provider, is he sweet, sensitive, is he a sleaze... We think about so much more.
To your second question: Of course, I can change to that system. It seems really nice. A symbolic meal to ask someone can you spend the rest of your life with them. Maybe I'll use that to propose.

In America, WOMEN are free. We chose who we love and marry. The difference being MEN are free so they can reject us. This is not a recent change.
Male dominance has been gone for a long time and even then women where not meek little soles.

the part about the men are running after women, instead of waiting for them to come to them struck me as funny. there are so many men in iowa they just wait for women to come to them.... after living in seattle and having the men run after me I can't adjust :( i wouldn't want to have to chase after a man.
i suppose it could be changed (apparently it is being changed) if there are factors that are changed.... such as outsiders coming in or lack of women forcing the men to find women elsewhere. i don't know. i'm just glad i wasn't born there. i would have been more unhappy then i am now.

I have NO problem with women "hunting" their men--so as long as moral values get tossed out the window. Hey: its every girl for themselves; give guys a break from the pressures of dating--go out and get you some!!!
Bonus points go to the girls who snag a married one!!!

I saw this article yesterday.........it does raise some questions, however they have a very different lifestyle so its hard to say if this would apply in other cultures
