I was driving home, and ran over what appeared to be a human body that was in the middle of the road. My guess is that someone placed a dummy there, probably kids, to scare people into thinking they ran over someone.

Well, it certainly scared me! I drove back to find it was only a dummy, but it was horrifying!

What is wrong with the person who did this - I mean, how do they even think to do something like this?

Wouldn't our world be much simpler if these things did not exist today?

Computers/Internet (Read books if you want information! Also, you won't have to worry about your kids talking to weirdos in chat rooms & message boards)

Cordless Phones (Remember when Telephones had a cord?)

Cell Phones (Aren't these stupid bills just rediculous?)

Microwaves (EAT YOUR FOOD WHILE IT'S WARM!)

Digital Cable (We can only have 4 channels. NBC, CBS, ABC, and that's about it, lol!)

TiVo (Freezing TV is insane! Pretty soon we'll have the power to time travel)

DVD Players/VCRs (You can watch 166 mm/8mm movies instead)

CDs/Cassettes (How about if only Records existed?)

Ipods (Wanna listen to music? Listen to it at home! Not at school)

Video Games (NO PS2 or X Box)

Can't think of anything else.

I moved to Texas and everyone thinks it's funny that I say "pop," but actually, I think it's more popular to say "pop" than "soda" and way more popular than saying "coke" (come on now).

Every time I say "pop" I get weird looks here, but I try to be stubborn and stick to my guns about it. Will you all please decide for me if I should switch to "pop" or "coke?" I don't want to give in to the pressure but if I have to, I will.

It saddens me that a country so rich in culture could crown danielle lloyd miss GB... how did that happen? was she the most intelligent of all the other contestants? i know beauty is not only wat is being judged in these contests.
Jade, Danielle and Jo's behavouir depicts how the average British born person behaves these days (total lack of respect for themselves and others).
It is appaulling how they fart and belge, drink to get drunk, do and say stupid things and then blame their actions on drink, (very typical of an average british who will drink without control and then claim rape) .
Parents hands have been tied to how d can correct their own children, the govt forgets each child is different and needs a different method of dicipline, rather than the super nanny approach which will not work for all children.The bible says "spare the rod and spoil the child" needless to say a lot of children have been spoiled, they're all becoming very wayward.
Wat can be done to salvage GB?

I posted a question earlier which I obviously didnt know the answer to and all these people were like 'you dumbass' 'wtf?' and so on, im like yo, if i knew the answer i wouldnt have asked, if i felt like reading a 500 page history book i would , but i dont , so i came to yahoo answers. like 2 people gave me a decent answer the rest were jerks.. People think cause they the answer to your one question that they are so much smarrrrter than you. well in real life id kick their *** anyway so they can chill with that 'you didnt know' nonsense. Marriage before sex
God stuff
Anti abortion
Anti claiming any benefits even for things us uk take for granted like child benefit or our state pension
Really small minded comments

I was shocked when I went to the states at how black and espainic people seems to work in the hotel carrying cases and chamber duties and white people were front of house.

I'm 15. And i know it sounds farfetched but I do wanna help the world. I know I can't help the whole world but I do wanna help. What can I do. I just see so many people suffering. Even if it is just someone begging on the train. It hurts me that people know what goes on and don't even care to help. If someone is selling AIDS bracelets($1 too) then there is know excuse for everyone not to exit the train(or wherever they are) without one, unless thay have no money, which is something I can relate to most times. I am surprised that people can read the NY times or watch the news and see these tragedies and just not do anything. If no one else will I want to. I will be getting a job soon. Also when the summer comes I can continue with my community service. Right now I am trying to get into this program(READ) to help younger children. But I wanna know what more I can do. I know I can heal the world but I wanna try. What can I do now? Or even in the long run,
