To make friends, you often do offer to pay for food/drinks, so that it equates to being 'cool to hang out with you', as you still do not have the ability to earn money yet. It's seen as gathering people of similiar interest in a certain aspect.

see at this stage youngsters like to make friends now some of them want to become popular among their friends so they plan parties,outings and det-togethers so now from where they would get the money for all this stuff it is and they are depended on their friends for this so they have the money and their child would take it from them only
