these are the reasons ive heard:

1. oestrogen protects womens hearts so they start having heart attacks when they stop producing as much oestrogen in mid-50s onwards - whereas men start having heart attacks in their 40s.
2. women get more support socially.
3. men live less healthy lifestyles - exercising less, eating worse, drinking more etc.
4. men are more likely to be killed due to violent behaviour, and in wars etc.

are there any other explanations for why women live longer?

PC seems to be regarded as totally negative but surely the term, the feeling, the movement must have some validity...

Is there something valid trying to get out - ..emotionally correct?... intuitively correct?...

List 10 things you like about your life.

01. I am alive
02. I am independant
03. I am self sufficient
04. I am intelligent
05. I am employed
06. I am educated
07. I own pets
08. I am best friends with my parents and siblings
09. I make friends easily
10. I am happy.

That is a list of 10 things I like about my life. I am sure if I were to think about it I could list some more.

I am asking this question, because I believe people take a lot of things for granted. And it is good to stop and look at what you do have, while you still have it, rather than what you did have when you lose it.

Now it is your turn. What 10 things do you like about your life?

Just type out what comes to your mind...

the good, the bad...
the funny, the sad...
about guys... or about gals...
their religion, their culture, their tradition...or their lack of tradition...

i'm just one curious person...

are u one? are u married to one? are u planning to marry one? did u divorce one?

were u hurt by one? did u hurt one? emotionally, physically or mentally...

did u ever noticed how there seem to be 2 groups of em... one is the Islamic type, and the other is the unislamic type... and perhaps there is one group in the middle... i dunno...

and did u ever noticed how the Islamic group may have bad behaviours... and the unislamic group may act better?

Is this a malay thing? or is it the same as other races?

or is there something about Malays?

are they manipulative? honest? backward thinking? forward thinking?

i'm just wondering...

I just don't know what to do. I am 17. It's the car my parents gave me and people base their perceptions of me on the car I drive. I have a bmw and now it seems like so many things have changed. No one drives one in my school, i don't live in the best city either nor go to the best school. All of a sudden I am a "stuck up ***** that thinks she's better than everyone" boys think I do not like them because they do not drive the car I drive or have a car like it. I've always had a lot of friends and I'm nice. I never bragged about my car, never told anyone what car I had got, never talked about it because I sorta knew people were gonna look down on me because of it. I just don't understand why something as simple as a car (everyone drives bmw's) could change how someone views another. I know these kids have seen BMW's on the road before. I am not my car. AND THEN you have people going "oh she's "rich" she doesn't do this or that" or w/e. im not even rich man and im not stuck up or prissy.

I am just wondering why they don't just go get a test at the drug store. Or if they have used a test they don't seem to believe the test results. Doesn't anyone go to the doctor? Especially if you are in the military. Why would you ask if you could be pregnant here in this forum? It just seems like a lot of people are asking questions who don't really know SEX EDUCATION. This scares me.

A neighbour lives about 3 doors away from me. I now and again see him at the bus stop and has, what I'd describe, as a friendly, extravert personality. Each time I see him, he keeps asking me why I'm not married yet and wants to know why at 36 I'm not. I'm a very shy girl and haven't been able to stand up to him. It's come to the stage where I dread going to the bus stop and lately, I've just withdrawn from him and don't even say hello. I think he's got the hint now, but how should I handle it if he starts up again with his nosiness? He's a married man with 3 grown kids from overseas. He believes in arranged marriages.

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE QUESTION BEFORE YOU ANSWER! I am not advocating under age sex or anything like that but I have a question.

Centuries ago it was considered perfectly normal for girls and boys of about 13 or so to marry people older than them. Lets say a guy age 25 gets with a girl age 19 (a 6 year difference), everybody is cool with that. Now rewind it 6 years, the girl would be 13 and the guy 19 and now it's all illegal. How is it different? So at what point did things change? Now it is illegal to marry and of course to engage in sexual relations with someone under 18 (or younger depending where you live) Again I am NOT advocating under age sex!!!

The advert is about protecting your items/household. In both the adverts I've seen, it is a white male either being told how to steal a mobile phone from an asian male, or the second advert shows a white male being shown how to break into a coloured couples house. Where is the advert showing a white family/person having something of theirs stolen by an asian or coloured person? Are we now too afraid to show an advert where this happens?

I'd definately think blue eyes are the hottest. Especially if the girl is fair skinned and has dark or blonde hair.

that when push comes to shove, most people are generally good at heart?

Example: Someone posted a question tonight asking if there was an online suicide helpline, and within minutes, not only was this person given several sites they could visit but also many offers from the nice people who answered who offered to chat one on one and help.

It makes me feel good to see this. How about you?!
