The advert is about protecting your items/household. In both the adverts I've seen, it is a white male either being told how to steal a mobile phone from an asian male, or the second advert shows a white male being shown how to break into a coloured couples house. Where is the advert showing a white family/person having something of theirs stolen by an asian or coloured person? Are we now too afraid to show an advert where this happens?

If race and colour is immaterial, why all the fuss about Big Brother then? I'm sure the people supporting moany Shetty would disagree with you.....

Everybody knows that Asians, Indians and Blacks are the victims.
THEY don't burgle houses or mug people in the street.
It's the Whites.

At least thats in TV Land.

In real life the whole world knows that Colour, Race, Religion or Nationality has nothing to do with whether someone will commit crime.

If you feel that the Ad is being racist then complain.

The TV companies are anxious to show that other races can be victims the same as Whites. The problem with being " P.C. " is that now it's gone the other way.

An innocent remark can be taken out of context and people can be sued for it. Just because someone belongs to a particular race, doesn't mean that they will act in a stereotypical manner.

As I believe - The Human race is a race of Individuals!
Judge us by our actions not our brothers actions.

I know a lot of people that are a different race, colour, religion, sexuality (the list goes on), BUT they may be an @rsehole because thats the way they act, not for ANY other reason.
Just because there is a Race issue at the moment, doesn't mean that Indians can't be idiots, or Blacks can't be b@rstards, or Whites cant be w@nkers.
Excuse the language but my feelings are strong on this issue!

Don't think about how OTHERS perceive things like this, think about yourself and how it affects you.
If it offends, complain.
If it doesn't, don't

This is a multi-cultural country. Race and colour is immaterial.

Unfortunately, it causes confusion in Scotland where many schools do not have a black face anywhere.

I'm confused. I don't understand the term coloured. I last heard it in 1965. Can you explain please.
Ah, I see you mean black people. You mean my friends and neighbours? Well none of them is a robber or a thief but the white drug dealer round the corner is. So I reckon the adverts you've seen are fine.
