Shouldnt they just be plain Americans?. I think Africans that move to America should be the ones called african americans dont you think so?

1. I work as hard as the next person but my husband (in addition to my full time job) wants me to to geta part-time job) - he thinks he's the next Bill Gates and wants me to be totally supportive of helping him achieve his empire building dreams. He wants what he wants and honestly believes I am like an 8 year old and am incapable of having an opinion. Therefore I need him to make all my decisions for me. If I say no to what he wants he is threatening and says that I'm lazy and that I neva want to get anywhere.

2. I work as an attorney and am constanting reminded of my billing percentage - that is, every minute practically at work has to be directly billed to a client by way of invoice. But not absolutely every minute of your day can be billed to the client - but my two female bosses don't see it this way and just pounce on me whenever my billing percentage is not looking like a 10 out of 10. They claim the partner at the firm will pounce on them if they don't do this.

I always seem to be attracted to older men. I think its because they are more respectful and mature then guys my own age. Im not saying I act on these odd atractions but i cant help who I end up having interest in. Any reasons why this is? Is it normal?

i've been noticing more and more "virtual" actors in place of real humans in tv commercials. it looks like a real actor did the piece, but is replaced by a cartoon rendition of him, making faces as he would in real life. are the real actors paid as much as if alive on tv?

why do advertisers believe that we will buy more from a company because it uses "virtual" actors in the commercials?

i have also just noticed one tv commercial that actually DOES have a virtual actor. is it a robot?

what do you think about "virtual" people in general? do you want to buy more from a company that seems not to pay actors for doing their jobs in commercials?

in fact, how is our so-called "leisure society," without people working but just having fun, going to happen when people are not paid for doing work? how will you pay for your leisurly activities? how would you feel if they made clones of you that would just do your work? i.e., they would be slaves, but what happens to YOU?

Ok I thought this was the "USA" we speak english here.I don't have any probs with different cultures,religions,lauguage.But when it starts to take over what this country is about that is when it becomes a problem.American's speak "ENGLISH".Why does everyone else feel so compelled to change it? Change things for the better where you live if you don't like it there change it,but leave the "USA" alone.

I know cancer is a horrible way to die. But somehow I find comfort in the knowledge that the people who flick their cigarrete butts out their car windows, will linger painfully at deaths door. Is it wrong for me to enjoy this idea?

Did the Cultural Revolution in China in the 60s, 70s and 80s have anything to do with destroying non-chinese items (such as violins)? In your opinion are most people with cellphones just using them to fill silence so they don't have to do any thinking? Are we creating an "anti-thought" culture from these sort of habits? What are the ramifications in your view of a society where no one ever enjoys alone time? What effect does this have on a persons mental development? and accuse you of judging them, & trying to find flaws or mistakes that you have made that may measure up to what they have done? I know some people who have done and do many bad things...such as having their car stolen and reaping the benefits, in the meantime, scaring their kids that someone was going to get them in their own home where they should be safe.... also parents who do drugs all day or night with their kids in the next room, drive their cars high with their kids in there and so on...But when issues like these have been addressed, it's pretty much a universal answer like... I'm acting like I'm better than them, or I'm high and mighty, or them trying to point out my NOT ILLEGAL mistakes, so I shouldn't judge... and things of that nature. I'm not judging, I just don't want my friends or family on a bad or dangerous path in life, & the kids aren't being protected and taken care of properly. Why can't people like this see that they need to change the road they're on wake up?
