I wanted to be a teacher or a nurse. My parents said that teachers don't make any money, so I abandonded that dream early on. I abandonded the dream of medical school after graduating college. The majority of the test required to get into medical school was based on logic. Despite my brilliance in other areas of academics, my brain can not wrap itself around the concept of, "If y, then x."

Till I was around 12 I wanted to become a singer/dancer. But I've always been too shy;) During my first high-school year I fell in love with ancient Greek, Latin , philosophy, archaeology and ancient civilizations. I had a gift for foreign languages too. So I majored in Linguistics, Philology and Semantic.I speak 5 languages, know several ancient languages (Sumerian-Accadian too) and work for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

as a kid I wanted to be a chef or an airplane pilot
i have not yet chosen a career. i am currently in graduate school studying geography. i dont think i will have any one job, but rather that my life will consist of writing, traveling, volunteering abroad.
i guess that might put me in the category of international aid, development work, or journalism
