Should marijuana be decriminalized and or legalized entirely? Our last two presidents (U.S.) admitted to using it in their youth. Supreme court justices, Lawyers, doctors, grandmothers, etc.
Should we be handing out jail sentences, or big bowls of M&M's?

Or is it just my eyes opening up to the sad, ruthless, ugly truth of life ? Lack of resources like water and oil, wars because of greed, perverted acts, increasing drug use, decreasing age for drug use, casual sex, crime; uneven and unfair distribution of wealth, more and more materialistic world, human and humane values being forgotten, and those who refuse to forget being labelled lame and losers. Masses deceived, masses massacred, killed, lied to. Was it always this way ? Or was I blind to reality until recently ?

Why do people take the time to ask a question here that could be easily answered with a web search, and wouldn't waste anyone else's time, like this question is?

How do you deal with problems at work that seems unavoidable?

Stituations where the boss misjudges you, then treats you unfairly in a way where your always worried about your job. You know you were treated terribly, but there's nothing you can do about it. Your now worried about loosing your job that you cannot afford to loose. So you ask a few employees that seem trustworthy on how to deal with it. At first they seem understanding, but then you learn that no matter how honest you are, they don't belive you cause they haven't experienced it. So then they see you as the problem as well. Now your worried about how the boss is gonna treat you, & what those employees may say to the boss about you. Even if you earn your bosses respect, the employees you spoke to in the past who may move up, may destroy that respect because of what they now think of you.

Seems like a lose/lose situation, & all you can do is stressfully wait to get fired for one big misunderstanding. It's depressing me.

I work as a Health care assistant, looking after elderly patients in their homes, the problem is that as soon as people hear I'm South African they start talking down to me, and make assumptions like that I never had any decent schooling.
They will say things like: "How would you know, you dont have this or that in Africa!"
I really cant stand it anymore!
What should I do? Say something back to them or just quietly ask for a transfer?
