I became more mature in relationships and became more responsible in my expenses and in school. I am 21 I don't want to depend too much on my parents or go hanging out with the wrong people, I'm a lot more wiser now than when I was 15.

When having a child I thought I grew up, but when she was diagnosed with Leukemia that was the moment I found out that life can end. Talk about a wake up call. When everything around you now has to be all for her little life so that she can bury you and you not bury her. You can't act immature and do everything you can to keep her alive at the same time.

When I was 14 my uncle went to prison and my mom and I were left to raise his three kids. She had a full time job and a part time one as well to make ends meet so I had to raise the three kids and go to school So I had to become an adult REAL quick.

Getting a secure job, living on my own (or shall I say, without my parents), and having a my own vehicle. I look back and think that any one of those didn't make me an adult, but all three combined have.

The term "adult" could be given fifty different meanings and replying to this question in way that made me feel I gave the subject justice would take me at least an hour.

Once I started being responsible. Paying my own bills. Geting a job. Managing my money. Thinking about others instead of only thinking about my self.
