Yes, of course I know that. It's a nationality. However, my grandmother still insists that I know how to speak "Mexican." Pobre Abuelita!

I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and when I move to the east coast the kids in the school thought I came from a different country. The point is that I am white, blue-eyed American boy and I have been "wronged". Anywhere you go in the world there will always be people who are not well educated and may prejudge you for any reason. The best thing is to be well knowledge and well read and well traveled and open to other people cultures and ideas. You can change yourself but not others.

not only is Mexican not a race, but Japanese is not a race either. Nor is Black or Chinese or Caucasian.

That's because THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS RACE.

Seriously. Look it up. Race is a myth. It is a social construct. There is NO scientific evidence that race exists.
