what i have witnessed is that good advice will be given to one who is being abused to get away from the abuser. yet they go back for more, again and again. it is a matter of self love and self respect: if you love and respect yourself, no one will ever get away with abusing you in any way whatsoever. you will get out of that relationship by hook or by crook.

i would say relationship advice. they may be miserable, and their friends and family may tell them to get out, but they stay and keep living rough lives.

Telling them to do - or not do something that would be better for their health and they know better- when they know- and they don't do- that is lack of wisdom-D
