Attracted to older men?

I always seem to be attracted to older men. I think its because they are more respectful and mature then guys my own age. Im not saying I act on these odd atractions but i cant help who I end up having interest in. Any reasons why this is? Is it normal?

well right now I'm dating someone my own age but is very well dressed, mature, intelligent, and independent. I'm attracted to this is guys more then anything but I seem to find it in older men more often then young. I see it as a problem though because I am only 16 and I get (and dont really mind) looks from 20-30 yr olds

It depends on how much older we are talking! 5-10 years older, OK. I cannot see how a young girl who is young and beautiful would not be repulsed by a middle aged old guy who soaks his dentures on the night stand, is balding on top, and has a pot gut! Yuck! Some people would do anything. Love would really have to be blind or the guy would really have to have a lot of money! Girls let's be honest here, you young ones are interested in one thing in an older guy (for the most part, not every case) ........money! If those old fools want a young girl, make him pay ladies! My mama used to say, "no fool like an old fool!"
There is nothing sweeter than growing old with your mate! Just my opinion!
Oh dear, 16? I hope any adult that considers hooking up with you is aware that there ARE laws in place that protect children from predators! I would report any adult I know who would even try to harm a child! Grow up first, and then establish your preferences when you are old enough to make that decision! Don't trust adult men who give you "looks!

Hahahaha... what a coincidence. I totally feel the same way. I'm also 16 and I get attracted to 20-30 year old guys. SERIOUSLY. I get turned off easily by guys our age. Sometimes, even 20 year olds seem so immature. But it's definitely normal. Don't worry about it. Well... it'd be more of a problem to the guy that's way older than you, since it's illegal for people a lot older than a child to be dating them. Haha. But if you think about it, guys our age will become more mature and respectful over time to be just like the guys that are wayy older than us. Still, how very rare and lucky to have met a mature dude. =D

I think it's ok if you're 25, and you like a 35-45 year old man.

if you're 15 and attracted to a 35-45 y.o. man, the law has a few things to say about that!! and you should speak to a trusted counselor.

Yes, it is normal. You probably see a lot of maturity and stability in old dudes. Plus old dudes want to have a younger woman around cause it makes them feel younger. So it works out pretty well.

I will have to say this, when you are still young and want to party, that old dude may be bed ridden from old age!

I've always liked older men. They are just more distinguished, confident, and can have an intelligent conversation with you. I also like the fact that they just have more "life" experience and certainly know how to please a woman! I don't see anything wrong with it and I don't think you are looking for a "father" figure as you will probably have someone answer with that.

it is the maturity thing most likely. And sometimes when we don't have a father figure that we have grown up with, we are attracted to older men. Personally, I like them closer to my own age! But to each her own. lol..
