and learn to have a relationship with their child and spend the time with their child to teach them the difference between right and wrong, then we could stop playing the blame game. I've listened to rap music my whole life and watch all types of movies.......and I have a very good head on my shoulders. So it's not the rap music and the movies that makes a person who they are........it's the way they are raised and the relationships they have with their parents.

What do you think?

Buddhism is much more than a religion. It is a philosophy of Life, because philosphy means
"love of wisdom" and the Buddhist path can be summed up as follows:
1 - to lead a moral and ethically sound life.
2 - to be mindful & aware of one's thoughts,
words, and actions.
3 - to develop Wisdom and Understanding.

But how can Buddhism help me ?
Buddhism explains our real purpose in life.
It explains apparent injustice and inequality around the world. It Provides a code of practice which brings Peace and Happiness.
Buddhism has the answers to the problems in modern materialistic societies. It includes a Deep Understanding of the human mind, which prominent Scientists, and Psychologists around the world are now discovering to be very advanced and effective!! Buddhism teaches not to believe everything we're told but to develop wisdom, which requires an open, objective, unbigoted mind. We can understand others when we can truly understand ourselves through Wisdom.

My boss created a power point presentation that looked like a 5 year old could have done it. She used the wrong "there" in a sentence more than once. I couldn't even understand half of her run on sentences. I am not claiming to be a genius, but how could someone superior to me be so dumb? I can't stand it!!!

Most shy people I know, while quiet, are very polite and kind hearted and yet they are frequently shunned by others and widely disliked. It’s as if more outgoing people don’t acknowledge the presence of people in the world that are quieter and may have difficulty connecting with others. They act as if being quiet were a crime.

Never saw anything so strange on Answers! I checked on my questions to day, to find out the information and maybe choose a best one.

One of my questions, underneath, said : One day remaining to answer.

Underneath that it said, No more Answers accepted. Question is closed to answerers.

There was one good answer, just one answer, period. With no face, not even a blank one, it just says Answer 1. Well I have never seen that before, either.

Like I said, it was a good answer. So I voted. I got 1 point for choosing the answer to my own question!

Now I have never heard of that before! Should be 3 points, it always is.

The question is in real estate, about selling a piece of land, if anyone would like to check it out.

It gave me no option to extend the question, either. But the answer was helpful. Beats me! Can you tell me why?

After suffering through a horrible and expensive divorce, I'm dealing with a large amount of debt. I'm working a full-time office job, a part-time bartending job (just to keep my head above water) and going to school part-time since I never got the chance before. I was just looking for some tips on keeping motivated. Sometimes I feel like getting up in the morning is just too hard, but i keep going for my kids.
