Why do people think that America is supposed to be a place where all these cultures exist? Frankly, I like the American culture, the way we dress, talk, act, eat, our arts, etc. Why do we have to give that up? The more immigrants we let in, the more our own culture is being mutilated. You don't see all these cultures infultrating China and progressively changing their arts and all. Why ruin our country with it? Anyone agree? Disagree? And why?

Wal-Mart has been criticized for denying benefits to employees by making sure they aren't allowed to work the number of hours that would push them up to the "full-time worker" level, among other criticisms. Abercrombie has a record for sexually exploitive ads marketed to adolescents and pre-teens, as well as a record of discriminating against certain employees on the basis of their race. Should we be shopping at these places?

Let's face it: every dollar we spend is a vote for or against a certain company. In addition to rewarding companies with quality merchandise at competitive prices, shouldn't we also reward companies that act morally and responsibly?

And don't accuse me of being an anti-capitalist. Nothing I have proposed goes against the tenets of capitalism. This is not about passing laws or fining companies. It's about purchasing power, personal responsibility, and working within the market system.

Also, if you wish to suggest other companies to avoid, please do so.

The majority of our black population in the world is slowly being reduced to being poorly educated, having poor health, incarcerated, dieing or killed every day. Africa is a country rich in resources yet civil woes, starvation, disease, corruption, tribal and religious conflicts strips its progress. It's the mother country, yet inexperienced youth are left to take care of adult businesses. Some issues are similar in the USA. These situations can be prevented by our leaders, our community and ourselves. Let us stop the excuses of blaming others for our shortcomings, for many among us from the same beginnings have succeeded. Let us be black and proud by respecting, motivating, loving each other and building for the future. Let those among us who have succeeded give back with our time, endorsements, talents and financial contributions. Let's not be the dirt that is constantly shaken off by others and ourselves in this world, but let us be the soil that grows the riches of the earth.

thank you for all of your responses on the overweight question, alot of them really affected me in good ways and bad ways. however, im a size 14 and disagree with a few of the comments made, mostly by men. its something society has embedded into our heads, that you should only be seen with a skinny person or else people will judge you on the way you look. thats not fair at all. i do feel that i'd get chosen over a skinny girl, but thats not to say im ugly. but anyways my moan out of the way thanks to your responses x

I have a few friends and they are all married with kids, or just married or have boyfriends and they are always going to family trips or couples nights out, and I have noone to go out and do things with.
How can I meet people who are single, but who are not interested in a romantic relationship?? I just need a friend to spend time with.

both can c u all the time (which is SOOO creepy) both will reward for good behaviour and punish for bad, granted the santa concept is simpler but both are ways used by authority figures (parents use santa while priests and bishops etc use god) too try and control your behaviour.....?

All of us are doing charity.
Those who are snatching the charity/misusing it are PARASITES.
POors & DEPRIVED can not educate his wards. BENIFITS of RESERVATION can not reach upto him.
CHARITY is required for them.

I do feel that concerted efforts must be made so that the standard of downtrodden can also improve & they can taste the fruits of FREEDOM.

Over a period of time i have come to the conclusion that all like minded people must discuss the issue so that some concrete efforts can take a shape for the development of poors. I feel that it will be a service to GOD the almighty.

# AFTER 12 STUDENTS MUST BE GUIDED TO TAKE TWO LANGUAGES & MATH/COMPUTER. IT WILL CREATE EMPLOYMENT IN BPO, KPO, SOFTWARE, TRANSLATION, JOURNALISM, LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENTetc.

I have heard so many disturbing stories about snuff movies being circulated on the internet and mobile phones I find it hard to believe that people are doing these horrific things to others.
I have never seen one and I wouldnt want to even if given the opportunity.

But I have heard stuff about people eatting babies, heads being cut off while people are laughing at the victim, and all sorts of crap, whos doing all this stuff and how come the police or media havent caught up with any of this?
