I have heard so many disturbing stories about snuff movies being circulated on the internet and mobile phones I find it hard to believe that people are doing these horrific things to others.
I have never seen one and I wouldnt want to even if given the opportunity.
But I have heard stuff about people eatting babies, heads being cut off while people are laughing at the victim, and all sorts of crap, whos doing all this stuff and how come the police or media havent caught up with any of this?

i watched one once. believe me it was purely accidental!!! i didn't know what i was watching until i did.i was sick and had nightmares for months.believe it or not,we rented it at a local rental store.we thought it was just some stupid slasher film.that was quite a few yrs ago. i have heard that they are still underground though why anyone would want to watch it is beyond me. if anyone is thinking about it i strongly suggest against it. death is fascinating,yes, but this is different. its pure evil. as to why the authorities haven't caught up with them, i don't know. its like drugs. when you get one another pops up somewhere else.

Well the closest thing to snuff I've seen was a video clip of someone's head been sliced off. That was on a cellphone at school.
But about these snuff films... I have a theory. Have you ever watched the film 8mm? It's based around a snuff film and the detective (Nicholas Cage) goes into the "underground" world of illegal pornography (kiddy porn, snuff, weird BDSM, etc) and he had to hunt down the producer of the snuff film and along the way he finds other snuff films but they star the same actress. So maybe these snuff films that you talk of are acutally simulated snuff films like in "8mm" and there are people that star repeatedly in these films.
But otherwise I think that if these snuff films were real then we would hear a lot more about them in society. I know it happens bu I thought it was a rare thing occuring in places like S. America or something like that where laws aren't as dedicated to stopping crime.
I have seen some pretty weird porn in my days but never snuff.

Movies like this are mostly underground. If you know anything about bit torrents you can find anything out there. Its disgusting some of the things people will do. You wonder about the sanity in a person like this.

It's probably just rumors. Actual snuff is extremely hard to come by. The accidental s/hit is common (ala Faces of Death) but the real thing is very rare.
