why do some people see citizen from new olreans are basically ghetto, poor , low class black people. as a citizen of new orleans it upsetted me that people think that i'm ghetto and poor and live in a lower class neighbor. has the media placed such a picture about the city and the time that forever certain people will be seen as a certain way. i left new orelans two years before katrina happen but grew up there all my life and still hav a "accent" and i recently didn't get a job because the employer felt i wasn't what i said i was. i grew up in a great neighbor and even went to private school so why is it that the city i'm from depicts me as a false person.

This is to the ones who DO want to kill themselves or DO think the world is bad

Join the Army, if you want to kill yourself join the army, at least if you do die it will be for your country, and if you think the world is bad, join the army to help make places of the world better

I worked in retail for quite a while, and there are certain women who get their"fix"every day from shopping. They push and shove, and drag miserable children around with them, and often eat and drink and leave a giant mess of clothes behind for the poor sales assistants. I don't think they will ever be truly happy looking for their best ever bargain! Anyone agree?

I watched this news segment where a young girl was chosen to pose for Playboy, and she was real proud and happy. Her friends and family (i know!) were happy and cheerful!! Isn't she lowering herself? She is selling her body!

Where girls so easy 20 years ago? Would they show off their body or make sex tapes and upload them (or allow bf to do so) to the internet (OK I know there was no internet back then, but you get the idea...)

Or that is just a myth? In my experiance I ,d say as of the present time they're both about equal in this regard.Though I remember in high school more girls than guys did it when yawning but that was years ago.But women tend to do it with the palm of thier hand rather than thier fist which men seem to prefer to use.

Any thoughts?

And I know this sounds like it should be a simple yes or no, but there is a lot about it. Anyway, here goes, well, my father is an Insurance Agent, and owns his own business, and is looking to start another. But my question has to do with, should I stay and go to college here where I live, and then become that insurance agent? Or follow my dreams, and head for NYC, or LA. And do something in modeling/acting, or just something in the entertainment field. The thing is that I am also gay. And no one knows, esp. my dad. I think I would feel trapped for life if I stay here, and do what my family wants me to do. I know it would be tough, but I don't know. What do you think. Thank you
