Because you are a Christian. Isaiah 53:5 says "But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our wellbeing fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed." (NASB)

If the piercing you might be referring to is the one Jesus took for you on Calvary. Then its true. If only YOU believe.
Because you're eternal life is saved through YOUR FAITH in what Jesus did. that's how.
