What is the purpose of blushing--other than making us turn red and letting everyone know that u feel stupid?

It's an evolutionary thing that happens to humans when we are either embarrassed or feeling flushed with "love"feeling-this is why women wear blush ...and also why do they wear lipstick? Because it;s supposed to represent their V-Gina's when they are engorged w/ blood--These are serious answers and not B.S i watched it on T.L.C
