Consider how our society as changed since WW2. Consider statistics over the last 60 years such as crime rates divorce rates, pornography, obesity, etc. Are we a society in decline or is our culture as strong as it ever was.

I have actually been ridiculed for choosing to spend some of my leisure time reading! That's no joke, either; that's how bad it is these days...
Not surprisingly, most people who don't read for pleasure are incapable of holding an intellectual discussion, are not creative, and are generally about as stimulating to talk to as a house-fly.

And for those of you who say "Wait a minute! I do read Danielle Steele, John Grisham, Stephen King, and/or the Harry Potter books," well, those are only marginally better choices than not reading at all.

Do you read anything that you're not required to by your job or school? If you do read, have you ever been labelled something like a freak for doing so? It should be the OTHER way around-- people who don't read should be mocked for their miniscule attention spans, their utter reliance on tv and technology, and their sheer lack of class. Oh, and don't claim you don't have TIME to read--just stop watching those stupid sitcoms and you will.

this guy/girl/thing asks these sick questions about kids and defecating, and then tries in vain to defend them...saying 'its just the way they word things where he is from' does anyone else know anywhere in the world,where they say that they fancy their kids instead of love them???? This guy should be banned.

You are driving in a van with five other most loved members of your family. Out of nowhere, a truck swerves and crashes head on through the windshield and kills the people in the front 2 rows instantly. you are sitting in the back with your cousin/sibling, and you are both pinned down at your seat. The van catches fire at the gasoline tanks and it explodes, killing your cousin/sibling. You survive but the fire rages throughout the car and you clothes catch fire. You burn and scream but nobody is able to pull you from the burning wreckage and you pass out into a coma from the searing pain. When you wake up four days later at the hospital, you find that both of your legs are broken and one is amputated from the knee down. You've lost your nose, ears, most of your vision, and most of your hair and fingers. You look at your highly burnt and damaged face, and the contrast is soo overwhelming that u look away.The pain is unbearable. All the relatives on the van with you have been buried.

I did this experiment one time. I wore a straight weave in my hair.It was like the world was my freind.People said hi to me. Sales people in store were ready to help. Guys open the door and hit on me.Then a month later I Left my hair natural and I was closed out again.Only a couple of black guys hit on me and I was left alone while shopping.My hair is kinky in its natural state. All the videos have nothing but big booty black girls with long weaves. Is that the only way to be noticed by other races.Is it just me or is Beyounce's weave getting longer and lighter.Her butt smaller? Just wondering.

becuz i work at a temp agency in jersey city, nj and its so hard to communocate with these non-english speaking people. then what makes it worst is they dont even attemp to learn english they try to teach you whatever language it is that their speaking. i just think it's wrong they can come to our country but not know our language.

I have been on a financial downspiral for months and in January I will only be able to afford the basics and will have to default on all my credit cards and then by mid year I will be homeless as my resources run out. I don't make enough money but my job schedule is not the same each week and I work on weekends, afternoons, evenings, some mornings. Getting a second job is difficult when everyone wants someone who can work weekends and evenings and you already do that. I don't have transportation other than foot and bus and can't be out past dark so I have many obstacles and no real friends. No family other than daughter who isn't with me although I still give her money although I won't be able to do that for long either. I suffer from severe depression and social anxiety disorder (I have since junior high 30 years ago) and don't have the time or money for treatment and any free treatment in my city is way over on the other side of town. My news years wish is to cease to exist.

a person successfully learn to overcome anger ?
For anger puts us all into an irrational state of mind, which makes it impossible to perceive things, people, situations clearly. It clouds are judgment, leading us to say and do things, which not only do harm to others but to ourselves inwardly especially.
