I did this experiment one time. I wore a straight weave in my hair.It was like the world was my freind.People said hi to me. Sales people in store were ready to help. Guys open the door and hit on me.Then a month later I Left my hair natural and I was closed out again.Only a couple of black guys hit on me and I was left alone while shopping. My hair is kinky in its natural state. All the videos have nothing but big booty black girls with long weaves. Is that the only way to be noticed by other races. Is it just me or is Beyounce's weave getting longer and lighter. Her butt smaller? Just wondering.

for Beyonce: she lost 20 pds for role she played in "Dream Girls" that's why she seems smaller and her weave is getting more attention now adays! : ) As for the weave question-it might be, but don't pay too much attention-if you wear the weave make sure its to make yourself feel good and not tryin to get some man that you may not want to attract!! : )

I'm sorry it's like that. I'm white; I would be really upset if I got the impression that I had to chemically alter my hair or get someone else's hair attached to my own to be accepted. At least you know that the guys who like you with natural hair like *you*, because that's how you really want to present yourself.

Its sad that some black women feel the need to change. I feel there are so many naturally beautiful black women.

I would just have the hairdo I like myself. I don't care what other people think. People are stupid. That's what I think.

Yep! We'd like blacks to get more on the whiter side. Ol' Tommy Hilfiger knew what he was doing when he "TRIED" to introduce Beyonce as the "NEW" most acceptable black. I think it worked!
