I have seen in the news celebrities such as britney spears wearing no underwear. What are your opinions on not wearing any underwear. Also do you think it may be a bit dirty?, especially if you are sitting in someone elses car and wearing a very very short skirt, as britney spears was.

OKAY FIRST OFF DONT GIVE ME THIS BULLSHIT: he killed many so his execution was both necessary and just in that it was taped! he deserved life in prison. not only did they give him a free ticket to escape the hell he would have faced in life long sentence in prison, but they have contradicted thhemselves : he killed people so lets kill him? no human being has the right to take anothers life and then call it justice. whats different about execution? the fact that its a legal decision? execution is murder. point blank. im against the death penalty 100 percent if you couldnt tell so please dont sit here trying to explain the process, why it's in place, how it came to be, etc. i just want to know what your opinion is on it/ sadaam's execution. l8ter loves!

What is wrong with people? Yes the man is insane but God gave him life. You cannot just take the lives of others like that. And I know that he has done a lot of that himself BUT just because someone has done something horrible doesn't give you that right. He has done some terrible things and deserves to be punished. Simply give him life sentence!
Don't hang him and kill him! Nobody deserves to die no matter how horrible a person they are.
God will deal with them later!

I was just reading an article about Taye Diggs and his wife Idina Menzel receving threatening letters about their marriage in 2004. He is African-American and she is Jewish-American (I believe), and the letters were threatening bodily harm against him because they are in an "interracial" marriage. That word really bugs me, I don't know why, probably because it really sounds like such a label, when marriage is supposed to be about love and building a future and family, regardless of your heritage or social background, or race. Anyway, I was just wondering what peoples opinions are about these types of threats, and if people think it is still prevelant in the US? What do you all think about this situation? Personally it makes me sick that someone would send such a letter to anyone, famous or not, its just disgusting and bigotry at its worst, not to mention really none of their business.

As example of this is as follows: You are given a choice between box A and Box B. The 2 boxes, however, contain identical things. It may appear on the surface that you have a choice, but in reality, there is only one possible outcome, forced to that no matter what you do. At times, I feel this to the be the situation in United States, where whether you vote for the Democrats or Republicans, the result will be the same.

I was looking into sponsoring a child in another country via one of those websites, but I realized that it was based around spreading Christianity. I was just wondering if there are any organizations that help people for the sake of helping people and not as a way to spread their religion? I dunno. As I'm writing this, I feel really lame for even caring... but then again, I'm looking to invest in the children of Armenia, which is the oldest Christian country in the world, so they really don't need missionaries.

Regardless.
Anyone know of secular relief funds?

I'm not someone that advocates blaming others for ones problems. I think most people that are obese could do a little research and live healthier lives (even if they don't become a size four)

But I do wonder if there is a ligitimate correlation between poverty and obesity. In past years, people have started working longer hours for less money. These people seem to struggle paying for health insurance and saving for their kid's college tuition (not to meantion all of the other monthly bills). Many families in this kind of position, seem stuck on the "Wal-Mart" budget, where they can't exactly afford to go to the health store and buy more expensive/healthier foods. You often see these people getting home from work at 6 or 7 at night and having a fridge full of "prepackaged, working class foods", that just aren't very healthy.

If America's "working class" was better paid and worked less hours, do you think we would see less problems with obesity in this country?

I am a 13 year old south aussie girl who is constantly being teased at home and at school. I write depressing poetry yet do not feel depressed. One of my poems was titled 'Nothing'. In that poem it basically said that some people want to be super-heros or super-villans, fairies or monsters, immortal and various other things. But I don't want to be anything. I don't even want to be me. And I don't know why. Is it wrong thing to feel this way?

Do some people look at the world seriously ALL the time?
Some things are naturally funny, for instance the hedgehog mating with the broom.
Some things have to be thought out like jokes - (2 birds on a perch, 1 says to the other, "can you smell fish?")
There are also jokes and statements that are subtly amusing and yet some people dont see the funny side of anything.
For the religious, a joke about god is offensive. But god gave us a sense of humour how can a god-given thing offend?
sometimes people answer a question that is serious on here with a joke. then someone else slates em for it.

Has the world had a humour bypass or is the comic appreciation fuse overloaded~?
