It is one nutjob conspiracy theorist from Montana in a debate. What in the world makes you think this is true? I would write more but there are blue helmeted, jack booted thugs fast roping from a black helicopter into my backyard as we speak. I need to pour them some lemonade.

It's a conspiracy behind closed doors, inspired (or demanded) by transnational giant corporations who want more uninhibited trade and more control of the world market.

It is supported by the conservative governments of Canada, U.S. and Mexico which love "free trade" (read: unrestrickted profit taking) for their election sponsors and financiers.

I don't think it's supported by most U.S. citizens. I don't know about Mexicans, who are obviously not happy with their government. But I do know that the vast majority of Canadians is opposed to a North American Union. Canadians don't want to be hated by the rest of the world for brutalizing other countries.

mis: I agree with the melding of North America into ONE union, as Europe has done. We are all stronger as one unit, especially, against common enemies, as a economy, and trade. Should we fail to merge as one unit, we will experience from nations such as Europe and the "Asian Pan-handle" domination of the world's markets. We would then, experience a lull in our economy, prices of common goods would sky-rocket, our economies would then, falter and we would be unable to compete globally. We have to amalgamate as one unit for survival purposes. NAU is not merely, an idea but a necessity !!!
