In a Freemasons Lodge, we engage in fraternatal activity, while also practicing ritual that passes down moral ideals and lessons based on an ancient legend. In our meetings, we initiate new members, discuss our philanthropic goals, our charitable givings, and our social events. After the meetings, we get together and have food and sometimes drink, and we laugh and have a good time.

We are not a religion, although we require our members to believe in a higher power, whether it be Jesus, Allah, or what have you. I've made some great friends in the organization, and while I'm sure there are a few bad apples out there, Masons by nature are good people who strive to make themselves and their communities better.
